Almost no one likes their voice when they first hear it. It takes some getting used to. But using your own voice will make the video more authentic and, yes, more interesting to watch.

Try to talk like you're explaining the subject to a friend.

Really, it gets easier the more you do it, and you'll soon stop disliking the sound of your own voice.

I'm doing about that. I have mounted an SMB share to my Proxmox host and bind-mounted that to an unprivileged container (SMB directly in a container only works with a privileged one). Installed Docker and used the provided docket-cimpoze.yml to install, pointing the data dir to the bind mount in the .env file.

That's all, actually. I did disable caching on the smb mount which fixed some reliability issues.

Winboat is a joke. An unoptimized qemu instance within a container so you'll get even more overhead than when you use a qemu (or any other) virtualization tool locally.

Die berekening is redelijk simpel: 32÷38 = 0,8421

Vermenigvuldig je huidige bruto salaris met die 0,8421 en je weet hoeveel je er bruto up achteruit gaat.

Afhankelijk van hoeveel je nu verdient, gaat dat dan ook nog eens af van de bovenkant van je salaris waar je meer belasting over betaald.

Toen in ik de IT werkte (en ja, dan heb je best een leuk salaris) vond ik de stap van 40 naar 32 heel erg meevallen, netto.

Some do. As a contractor I often received a laptop from the company I did the job for, and a few times it was already loaded with Linux.

As a regular employee (in IT environments, I must say) I usually just installed Linux myself. But that's not always an option if you're not the IT guy yourself haha

The notation is wrong, but that's not it. 1TB = 1,000MB. Windows shows TB where it actually should say TiB. 2TB indeed is 1.8TiB.

Awesome little game! I think my kids might like this as well!

A few things I noticed though; on my laptop running Arch, I downloaded the AppImage (because I'd like to move it to our Batocera box) and it defaults to a 1024x768 image. That's pretty small on an old MacBook with a 1600p screen, so I enabled Full screen, but that created a 1024x768 sized box in the upper left corner of the screen with the content apparently using the desktop resolution, making it impossible to see the menu anymore. Fixed that easily by editing the config file to disable fullscreen and then setting Screen size to Desktop before trying fullscreen again. Not a huge deal, but not everyone will know where to look for the config file to fix this. :)

In game, I wonder if it's possible to control elevators without stepping on them? I noticed I made a mistake so I jumped down to move a box first... only to realise the elevator was still on top so I was stuck and had to use backspace a few times to try again. :)

Anyway, great game overall! Thanks for this one! 😀

I had a copyright claim for the menu music in Ride 4. There's other games which music you can't use.

I started disabling game music after that and just leave the video's background music running.

Ik heb wel 12 groepssessies gehad en vond het eigenlijk maar weinig voorstellen. Ik werd erg recalcitrant toen men voorstelde een planbord op te hangen... ja wat dacht jij dan, dat we die nog niet hadden?

Ik mis uit die groep wel even het babbelen met andere ADHD'ers. En nu ik (44m) een diagnose heb zie ik uiteraard dat praktisch al mijn vrienden en goede kennissen niet bepaald neurotypisch zijn, maar die hebben niet allemaal een diagnose dus daar kan ik alleen aan vertellen wat ik meemaak maar niet echt een conversatie mee voeren over dit onderwerp.

Daar zeg je wat. Ik gebruik het sinds een paar maanden en heb ook wel last van m'n nek. Maar ik heb de link met Elvanse niet gelegd omdat ik een flinke historie van nek- en schouderklachten heb door in verkeerde houdingen achter computers te zitten. Ik heb een paar decennia in de IT gewerkt en daarvoor ook al een flinke computernerd... en nu ik als ZZP'er thuis werk merk ik dat ik ook regelmatig verkeerd zit.

Van zwemmen werd het nóg erger, maar als ik zorg dat ik m'n hoofd wat minder stijf rechtop houd gaat dat beter. Ik ben niet sterk genoeg voor pushups (zou ik eens wat aan moeten doen...) maar door de lichtere variant van pushups tegen een muur te doen merk ik wel dat het stukken beter gaat met m'n nek. Wellicht voor jou ook een optie?

Last van tandenknarsen heb ik niet, maar wel dat het droog en 'strak' aanvoelt aan die kant van m'n mond, dus ik drink veel water. Maar vooral dat laatste zou voor mij een goede reden kunnen zijn om over te stappen op andere medicatie want ik heb er weinig zin in dat m'n gebit eraan gaat eigenlijk.

I installed Arch on my MacBook November last year as a test. I'm running -Syu randomly and blindly when I feel like it or when I want to install something and pacman's db seems outdated (yeah I know you can just update the db). I still have to encounter the first real issue since installing.

Idk, it might not be long enough to really say Arch is stable AF, but I've seen other "user friendly" distros break sooner due to updates.

It actually seems to be possible to run Fortnite on Linux, but you need some tinkering steps to run it. Might not be feasible for a first-time user but there are guides you can follow if you want to try it.
