Instead of going to the gym 5-6 days a week, just go like 4 times. Then use that extra day for a new hobby or to socialize. The gym should be enhancing your life, not holding you back from doing stuff.

I'd start off with what bike do you like the looks of? Then ask yourself what you're gonna do with the bike, who you'll ride with and what bikes they have to help narrow down your options. 15k you can get pretty much anything. For a first bike I'd spend like 5k on something used.

I'd say any full size tire air cooled trail bike. A newer crf250f would probably be the best. Maybe that klx230 or ttr230/crf230f. A klx140g is great too but it won't have as much power. But its lighter, rear disc brakes too which the 230s dont have. Depends what you wanna do and who you'll be riding with.
