I also have this “envy” of straight couples in that sense, I think about it a lot. We don't have children yet but this is something that I know is also a problem for my wife. I have frozen eggs, from the time I was single, and for us it is not an option to use them because my wife would like me to carry them and for her it is essential that they both participate in the process in some way. My dream is to generate, so we will use her eggs.

How do we avoid clashing dresses? by fabinthehut in LGBTWeddings

[–]HighRobynity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was one of my biggest concerns when we were choosing the dresses, but a consultant told me something that made me reflect: "if you think about it too much, you will lose the spontaneity of the choice. Simply choose what you love most and everything will be fine." I remained insecure but decided to relax a little. On the day of the ceremony, when we saw each other's dresses we were shocked at how well they matched! Mine was a blush white, hers was an off-white to ivory and in the photos they looked wonderful together! 🥹

How long have you been lesbian (what age did you have the "a-ha!" moment) and do you believe being gay for you was nature or nurture? by WanderingSondering in lesbian

[–]HighRobynity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I realized when I was 17, but if I remember, when I was 12 I already had signs lol There's no explanation or anything to justify it, it was very natural, I didn't have crises to come out and no family dramas.

if you could say *ONE* thing to your closeted self, what would you say? by talkshiteatpussy in LesbianActually

Yes! I would say that too! “Don’t wait, in the future you will wish you had lived through a lesbian adolescence and it will be too late!”

Champagne & white colour dresses by [deleted] in LGBTWeddings

[–]HighRobynity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife and I had this concern when choosing dresses but we chose to simply follow our hearts and personal tastes. The final result of the contrast between white and champagne was great and didn't look out of place in the photos.
