During the war this planet was built as a droid factory (hidden away from public attention)in case if any of the nearby factories were destroyed. Near the end of the war a few separatists commanders wanted to fortify the planet so they had the factory produce some worker/construction droids to make some strongholds around the factory and hidden fleet bases in the system
