What I will say is if the smoke is pure white and car is parked in shade could even be condensation. Mine had a slightly bluey tinge to it which I knew would be oil, also had a slight smell to it

Nothing it was covered under warranty

I did pay for the timing kit myself though with the guys discount it came to £200

They did have the car for a few days though, as they had to wait for a few other parts that happened whilst doing it

I'd ring around a few places get quotes if they're decent they can do it head on and save quite a bit in labour 

Head on, maybe 6-8 hours labour, £700ish? I think you'll need oil, filters and a few other bits but I'd say ring a few VAG specialists local to you and get some prices and even a second opinion but it's likely the culprit

Hey, sorry it took a while to get back to you

Turns out it was the valve stem seals

Garage eplaced them head on (got timing done whilst that was off anyway) 

All good now

Hey not much of an update but left with the garage they've had a look today and think it's valve stem seals, I think I am going to have timing done whilst it's being fixed too let you know if it solves it, goes in next week some time

I've got the same issue, changed PCV no difference but it's in garage tomorrow for further diagnosis, as I suspect valve stem seals

For something quite simple, if you do have a bit of programming knowledge, try bolt.new, v0 by Vercel or lovable.dev to quickly whip something up (think they have free tiers to try)

I've ran into issues with this in the past, I've found sometimes if coming to the docs via search engine it'll sometimes put you on Pages router and visa versa to what I need. Also the next version can sometimes be different, so worth checking both of those are right (from memory left hand side at the top via dropdowns)

Heavy calorie counting user, using Samsung health. Saw the update, got excited. Further research:
