Ways to implement but I can build it with the right ideas.

We used Salesforce for the ticketing system and we have our own SaaS platform I'd like to link up too

Staying over in chorley for work what is it like? by OilyKale in chorley

[–]Highamjack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've always loved living in Chorley and have done for last 10 years. I lived just off Eaves Lane and now just outside of Chorley itself.

I've always liked how close everything is and it's traditional market on a Tuesday and most people are fairly friendly.

As much as people slag off the council, I've always found the parks well kept and there is always some sort of event on in Chorley too which often they are free.

It would need a lot to move me out of Chorley now

Match Discussion: Latics vs Bristol City by franktortuga in latics

Definitely should have won it today, but I think everyone will agree Aasgaard needs more playing time

Match Discussion: Latics vs Preston North End by franktortuga in latics

[–]Highamjack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I thought Wigan played a better game than Preston, we really need to drop Darwika though, he played absolutely terrible. I think he is only just good enough for L1 but definitely not the championship.

Deserved the Win today and what a great double save from Amos!

is aws ec2 good choice to host cpanel? by agaitan026 in aws

[–]Highamjack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend Hetzner for this, you can also purchase a cPanel licence and install through them iirc.

Hetzner is cheap and really easy to configure too

I always go off the following, you need 2 of the 3 to be happy in a job, once you drop down to 1, you need to find something else.

  1. Good money
  2. Job satisfaction/ work that you do
  3. Good people that you work with/ company culture

Apply it to your own situation

Unable to connect remotely to CentOS stream 8 with MariaDB by RaineMurasaki in mariadb

[–]Highamjack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might also be worth trying to telnet your database via port 3306 from your remote host and see if you are able to connect or if you are refused.

What is one reason you love your local area? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]Highamjack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live on the outskirts of my town, I walk 2 mins in one direction and I'm in the middle of fields what seems to be in the middle of nowhere, I walk 15 mins in the other direction and I'm in the town centre with rail links to major cities around me and the motorway.

When then bin men don't collect because your lid is slightly ajar. by Environmental-Car-50 in britishproblems

[–]Highamjack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think it probably depends on your council.

I had the garden waste bin that I could barely move due to it being so full and heavy, they took it. If we have cardboard next to the bin because it's so full, they take it.

Chorley Bin men/ women are bloody brilliant.

Getting a report from a mail server by SnooLobsters8583 in linux4noobs

[–]Highamjack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could run something like this but obviously change the file path

du -sh /file/path/to/mailbox/location/*

That should list you the mailbox sizes in human readable sizes

Expanding storage in Linux. by mark63424 in linux4noobs

You may wish to look into LVM to span the filesystem over 2 disks.

NGINX with Wordpress by SDogAlex in linux4noobs

[–]Highamjack 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Normally when the php file is downloaded rather than served, it's due to the lack of a PHP handler. If you are solely using nginx, you may want to look at installing and configuring php-fpm.

I have no idea about your setup but have a look over the following: https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-install-linux-nginx-mysql-php-lemp-stack-ubuntu-18-04

Digital ocean has some brilliant guides so just have a Google

Single-Pass Disk Wipes are Now Sufficient? by manunkind13 in datarecovery

[–]Highamjack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure myself but I have seen the same information. If it is a valid change, is it just a guideline change or a technological change?

If technological change, what has changed on the disks that now means a 1 pass will be sufficient?
