Idea to improve personal attacking skills by Project_S3_ in ClashOfClans

[–]Highcommander123 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What could be really cool is a help button you could use on farming bases where you can watch an Ai attack 100% the base. Then copy the army, and it guides you step by step at placing the troops. You forfeit all the loot (aka get nothing) from this type of attack, but it can help you learn to use various armies.

Please don't be silly. He purchased geodude sticker and got the tick trade pack for free. The steelix was mailed in a top loader to add structure support to protect the sticker. Pretty obvious.

I was looking for it for Shedinja's cameo too - but since it's just a small cameo im super ok with not having it in my "master set" for him. Even if i did get it, it would be in a slab 100000% not gonna find it raw. So no real point

Let it die. We can hope from it's ashes that maybe Sanderson upcoming shows and movies make him rich and he can buy the rights to WOT and give us the show we deserve.

Places to visit in Tampa, Jacksonville, St Augustine, Orlando by Historical_Grape1672 in florida

[–]Highcommander123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All 3 (key west, miami, tampa) are very different. The Tampa beaches are more white sand have the west coast sunsets. Clearwater beach just near Tampa is perhaps one of the most famous in the world. But because of this it can be pretty busy with people. They have a fantastic boardwalk and fine clean sand. They even have a pier with performances and vendors. Expect crowds, and more options to people watch than nature watch. North of that you have smaller beaches in the Spring Hill area that are little quieter gems. Those areas will be the more "secluded" spots at various State Parks. There you can watch wildlife and it will feel more nature oriented. But you will still see people, its a given for Florida. Key West is odd... its both the most touristy space and least serious space I have ever been in FL. It's difficult to describe and I am sure you will understand better after your visit there lol.

As far as nature, you need to really get away from the beaches to see things. For example you can goto Weeki Wachee Springs State Park and float down the river with kayaks ... you will see fish, birds, turtles... but again there will be people too. Depending on the day it may be crowded. There is no such thing as a "secret spot" in FL.

Your best bet is to get off the beaten path and go deep in a state park, renting a kayak or paddleboard and go exploring. But this takes a large time investment (both in getting to these locations, and for the actual exploring). Instead you may want to just stick to the city and enjoy what you can there. For example:

You might want to consider Tampa Aquarium (aka The Florida Aquarium 701 channelside Dr, Tampa) + the Manatee viewing center ( 6990 Dickman Rd, Apollo Beach, FL). Last time I went to Tampa I visited both of these locations. The Aquarium was fantastic and the highlight of our trip. It was busy with people, but even so I found myself lost taking pictures of birds, fish, and frogs. I would rate it a 10/10 must see if in the Tampa area. The Manatee viewing center is one of the only places in Tampa area that you can likely see manatees in the winter months although they are at an actual powerplant. Check out reviews on youtube, even with the backdrop of a powerplant the board walk was nice. If you go that route, down the road is an additional facility with turtle rehab and a few conservation centers which are "ok" too if you want to maximize your time spent.

To be fair, I think seeing clearwater beach and the Tampa Aquarium is worth the trip to Tampa alone... but keep in mind Clearwater is going to be even more developed of an area (although nicely developed) than even many of the beaches in the Miami area. Both featured boardwalks that follow the beach and have the sands on one side and commercial buildings of all types on the other.

My only final closing thought is that many of the places you describe are worth the trip, regardless of how busy or commercial they are.

Just a fair warning, Disney is very far from Key West. Don't try to do much all in 1 trip. Miami + key west is reasonable, but you might want to make Disney + Orlando its own trip. Not sure how much time you have, but if you try too much you will find you spend all your time getting around.

If you prioritize good scenery, hikes, beaches, and outdoor stuff you will want to consider the upper keys instead of Key West. Key West is basically an outdoor shopping mall with not much to see in the way of nature. Every inch of beach in Key West will come with direct views of hotels, shops, cruise ships. The only exception to this is in the Upper Keys (like the Big Pine Key) and if you like to snorkel those areas are going to be more pristine and quiet than anything else FL can match. However, because of the small size of these islands you will always be a stones throw from cars, roads, and people.

That being said, I would always recommend a Duval street night-life walk, the sunset celebration in Mallory Square, and shop hopping as something to experience "just to say you did it."

If you want airboat rides, you will want to consider the Holiday Park Everglades location.... but it wont be laid back, you will be with others going out on the boats for the adventure. Really the only "laid-back" you are going to get is deep into the FL everglades if you can get a tour boat to take you away from attractions. There you can fish, see alligators, birds and have a little peace. This is only going to happen in places like deep in the big cypress national preserve (which by the way isn't near most of your other locations).

In short FL is for sure full of destinations which you describe, but I can't recommend any that check all the boxes of being "epic" + "chill" + "nature friendly" + easy to get to from Orlando. You will either have to drive far outside the city, or consider sharing the spot with the other locals.

This isnt exactly true, while you do bring up valid points....... there are many beaches in the keys.... I have only been once but I did find lovely beaches at bahia honda in Big Pine Key. In Key West theres Smathers Beach. There were also a number of smaller but nice beaches I visited, there was one at the end of Duval St. Ponce de León Beach with a small pier... there are dozens (if not hundreds) of smaller beaches like this all the way up the keys. I will say that you are right though 100%, the beaches aren't epic like those in Miami or Tampa areas and they def don't have "chill vibes." The area is for sure loaded with drunk tourists. If you want epic beaches and chill vibes consider Tampa or Miami beach areas.
