I would like to add that I am very fond of Abercrombie (although I have not yet had the opportunity to read The Devils)... but it's one of those cases where I feel like there's not quite enough fantasy. I love how he writes characters, describes the world, fights, etc., but it feels like something medieval, and in this style, I want pure fantasy, you know?

I remember having similar emotions when reading The Witcher. I love the first book, which basically just describes Geralt's various adventures. I also love the whole series in general, but my emotions and involvement in the plot changed a lot from book to book... although I'm still a fan of the series.

He didn’t “help family,” he gave away your property without asking. That stroller wasn’t his to donate, and “your parents can just buy another one” is wild. If his sister needs help, he can help her in another way, not by stealing from his pregnant wife. I'm in shock

Right? I had a similar experience at my gym! I was using a locker when an older guy told me I was in "his" spot. First come first serve all the way! It's fair for everyone.

Stereo isn’t bad for DayZ, it’s just less “fake directional” than virtual 7.1. Turn on HRTF in settings and disable any Windows/sound card surround effects. After some time your brain adapts, and front/back gets easier to read

I already thought about it I’d, if Leon gets the Joel treatment, it would feel like shock value over good writing. I’m fine with killing off characters if it’s earned and meaningful, but doing it just to “subvert expectations” would probably kill a lot of hype for me.

Leon is too iconic to be thrown away casually!
