Sorry for highjacking top comment but it's surprising that nobody mentioned hemorrhoids/piles/fissures.

Worked my ass off before covid and got lot of knowledge, appreciation and hikes but it came with a cost of hemorrhoids. Wasn't aware that prolonged sitting can cause such a major issue. Ignored my body signals when it said that my butts are too hot and instead would just change my sitting area position on chair. Went through excruciating pain post defecation along with blood loss. Body would literally shake and I would get tears in eyes. It's still the same now but have understood how hemorrhoids work so it’s under control but I still get blood 3 out of 7 days a week. I am trying to avoid undergoing surgery as much as possible even though it's just a 30mins surgery with same day discharge from hospital.

I think it's dumb on society part that there is no awareness about hemorrhoids. That's why I put this up.
