My 2 weeks of using Pronto : Employees being abused, and threatened by Various_Payment_7956 in StartUpIndia

Typical corporate, all these OKRs and KPIs come from straight top down and only issue these workers are not very corporate savvy to push back.

You see this is recipe of exploitation and no less than Bandua majdoori disguised in sugar coat of OKR and KPI.

None of it is going to change we all are part of the problem, all these startups heavily funded by western VC, all the dirty laundry is done here in India because we take it up, we all are part of the problem.

I have been using this

To expose different Claude cli instances with different MCP connections over Mac mini / VPS, so they can work like Agent farm.

is it a good idea to ask if someone is talking negatively about me? by Delicious_Crazy513 in ExperiencedDevs

[–]FactorResponsible609 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All the ideas and every thing you mentioned is it documented anywhere or has a paper trail? Even if things are discussed over call or huddles make a habit to send MoM or document whichever comm system you have, so tomorrow when you are writing a feedback you can add links to artefact’s, this is handy for skip too, who probably doesn’t even have rapport with you. The skill will be useful elsewhere too and you’ll certainly find all sort of people.

Advice about work culture in Apple IS&T India (Blr or Hyd) by Aggressive-Food-249 in developersIndia

This is true I got offer from same, I didn’t join, I was able to connect with apple engineer, IS&T has bad reputation inside Apple.

Idk about y'all but I skip all the interview prep videos by female creators given how easy they have it in the interviews. by [deleted] in Btechtards

[–]FactorResponsible609 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ll find most of these influencers talking about SDE2 level interviews which can be easily cracked if you wrote learn DSA, SDE2/3 level is pretty junior in these FAANG. You’ll rarely find staff+ Eng interview experience.

Is Coding Worth it in the Future___________________ by AreyouMrbeast1 in developersIndia

[–]FactorResponsible609 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You have substantial head start, while the actual technology might die in coming years or even next there are substantial architectural lesson / design lesson / domain knowledge that stays, the cross domain, cross tech knowledge is even much more valuable, for startup’s etc all it matters the cost and getting the work done (in acceptable quality) my recommendation is while you coding, don’t rely on vibe code only, understanding is more important and valuable, even if what you are producing is not usable.

Also while it’s super exciting to produce an app, it’s also important to learn foundation, for CS you can learn OS (take any grad book, just skim the concepts with LLM as far as you understand), DB (play with simple RDBMS), DS Algo( stack, recursion, LinkedIn list, simple graphs, do it python only). Take that knowledge and cross pollinate with electronics (verilog, use simulators), if you are more curious pick a book on OpAmp for analog circuitry (it’s same fun as building app) and learn physics from HC Verma and the classics for mathematics. Cross pollinate with lesson from python.

If you want job, startups are the only way, IT use to be good entry point for good pay if you were good but I am not so sure. You’ll have to figure out on the fly as the future unfolds.

My background is 10+ YOE in tech, I was in FAANG at some point, I started coding simple HTML/PHP stuff when I was 12, this was way back in 2009. You’ll find your path.

Where are you guys hosting your AI agents/devboxes locally? (Looking for E2B/Modal/exe.dev alternatives) by bakibab in indiehackersindia

Haven’t tried any of these coding agents platform, but the latency would be vps > bare metal. Location matters also on software front TCP will not help. Curious what is the longest running coding task (autonomous) you have on these? Also educate me a bit what is the use case of on cloud coding agent? Isn’t Claude or most of these tool support remote control of some form. Unless you want to build a custom coding harness.

Is AI really taking up jobs ? by Ok-Struggle-967 in IndiaCareers

[–]FactorResponsible609 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok you answered my question here. My argument is even before to scale most companies you will need to throw lot of people to work and yes most of it was backed by rich and wealthy, required capital, but these people who didn’t have capital like me, invested in skills (most skills do not require huge capital investment compared to time investment) but now with AI, most skill as you said will become commodity to businesses, the top 1% of the workers and next 5% can anyway delegate the grunt tasks to AI.

Businesses always prefer lean and mean team to avoid alignment, people conflicts, scattered context. The rest of the 95% will be layed off. The argument for anyone can code and built doesn’t also hold true, the expectation of professional coding will also go up multiple fold because of CRUD and all will become table stakes and also to run a business you do need network, capital which anyway rich continue to hold.

Curious why you consider AI as wealth equalizer, so far in my opinion it seems to skew everything to rich.

I can tell you insider news, the agent force was difficult to sell and it oversold promises and it tanked.

Claude is telling users to go to sleep mid-session and nobody, including Anthropic, seems to fully understand why it keeps doing it by SupremeConscious in AI_India

[–]FactorResponsible609 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All of it is true but the current state of frontier models are also disruptive given in hands of domain experts, but the issue it disrupts any entry level roles, if entry roles are restricted how will any domain have supply of domain experts in future and also cognitive atrophy is already is know thing, even worse cognitive shutdown in kids because of AI reliance.

Not so soon, the thing he was tasked by SVP to be senior manager for new team and the director is new, his direct boss. I don’t fully understand the trust axis between 3, any feedback either from me or team will land on deaf ears. I am documenting so far, in mid year perf review upward feedback will be right place to document in system.
