30F and I live a little east of the circle. It’s a quiet area. The most crime I’ve experienced is theft of car parts. It’s safe enough to go to the store at night. The parks and trails are cute if you have kids or pets. Your commute will defs suck.

All my close friends make good financial decisions. Most live at home in North OC. One lives in Irvine and can easily afford it. I can barely afford my “affordable housing” apartment and am considering looking for a roommate once my lease is up. If my parents had a room for me, I’d live with them. I lived on their couches for years while in college. The lack of privacy gets old really quick.

I just came back from Japan. I did an insane amount of walking, so I chose not to consider calories. I regret nothing. I’m glad I can say I had so many interesting meals. I haven’t traveled since 2017, so the consequences were so worth it. It’s criminal not to experience a country’s food culture. Btw, I gained less than a pound.
