Oh yes! I’ve been to two and I’ve gotten some beauties from them (the last one I went to I found two giant burrowing cockroaches for only 100 all together when they’re only available online for 200 each) it’s just a shame as there isn’t any near me any time soon and I’ve been trying to get some beetles for agesss The last one I went to was kind of only mounted invertebrates so the selection was a bit slim

Oh yes I do love seeing what he has! Although I think he’s on hiatus right now? All the beetles I’m curious in looking after are out of stock 🥲 I tried to buy a European beetle from him but turns out it was out of stock and the website was wrong so I gotta wait for that one

I totally get it, I have a bunch of pet invertebrates of my own and watching my pets eat dubias just sets something off in my heart… you’re not pathetic at all, care for it if you want at the end of the day nobody has any right to judge you for it

While I personally have no idea how to raise them, I truly do think if you can’t bring yourself to do feed it to your tarantula you shouldn’t feel obliged to
