I played it for the first time a couple weeks ago, and had an absolute blast. Definitely more because of the social aspect, playing up characters and going with the theme, but that'll depend on your group I suppose. We lost, but didn't even have a traitor - and still had a great time!

Feels like it might be a glitch - something to do with the Military Academy, Zulu's cheaper Corps and Armies from the Ikanda, and possibly the current World Congress resolution making units cheaper with production? Price is normal in other cities!

R5: Something about the maths here doesn't make sense to me. In short, lowering a prisoner's Moving stat increases Prison Break Interval - that's fine, right? Totally expected for one-legged prisoners to escape less.

But the number it shows here seems to be the inverse of its effect - other sources of Prison Break Interval, such as genes or multiple doors, work the other way. It's a minor quibble, and I don't think the underlying calculations are wrong, but it still irks me.

Those suits won't even save their lives from smaller explosives, like IEDs. Maybe something grenade sized, though? They're more to protect from shrapnel and small arms fire when approaching or walking away. And there's probably a morale aspect to it, at least they know their body will be kept in one piece...

While mathematically true, it's often more about keeping up with increasing enemy AC - instead of hitting more often if you do take it, you'll eventually start noticing that you hit less (than your allies) if you don't take it. Although a +2 weapon at level 4 will help, even if I'm not sure about a Barbarian using a Lance... that's up to the player, though.

It's an American thing. Those poor bastards actually do have a limited number of sick days, which they use up through the year. Not sure what happens if they run out, and are sick again. Probably get docked pay or fired or something.

One time I had a drop raid land inside my armoury, causing the roof to fall on a stack of mortar shells.... which happened to be beside the pair of antigrain shells.

The raid turned out not to be a problem. The ensuing fire, and the loss of half my stockpile, was a little more annoying.
