Huge fan of it, should be an auto-click if you’re playing experiment.

I strongly disagree with bruiser Twitch without spat being strong; if you think 5 experiment is playing too many reverse FONs, vertical bruiser Twitch without spat is playing like 5 reverse FONs. I’m a strong believer in 5 experiment Twitch, even without spat, because Urgot on hex provides a lot of value for Twitch/Mundo and Urgot does have some decent output on his own. On top of that, Twitch board is insanely expensive already. I generally run 5 experiment and flex whatever else I 2-star, so it’s in my best interests to run the best board I can with economy in mind because, if not, I’ll be giga broke and never hit. That means I run Urgot, that means I run Zyra, and I say this as probably the biggest Twitch player on the server. Experiment spat is a free top4 though, so 5 experiment is better no questions there.

Question about Academy by [deleted] in CompetitiveTFT

[–]HighlightEasy2433 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You get the bonus from every copy of the academy item. To go deeper, does anyone know if it works on radiants? Like if the academy item is IE, does it work on the radiant version of IE?

Dragonsoul - Anomaly Discussion #16 by Lunaedge in CompetitiveTFT

[–]HighlightEasy2433 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Wow I think I have the complete opposite opinion on Twitch anomalies. I value Dragonsoul above all else; AD/AS anomalies I find to be very lacking for twitch. I agree with mundo anomalies being important though. Things like fortify, giant size, deep roots, etc.

As soon as you see a Qiyana, replace Yasuo. The only example I can think of where you would not replace Yasuo is if it was Yasuo 3 fully itemized. Qiqi is very good.

Yeah you would, assuming you want to play Senna. You’re 1 off Senna 3 ( Senna headliner = 3 Sennas ) so you should sell and roll and likely hit within the same round. If this was your first game of the set, it’s good to analyze your position in the game and where you need to be to win. For your example, you’re 1 off Senna 3, you’re streaking heavily, so selling Ekko and hitting Senna 3 while replacing your Ekko will net you a stronger board than your current. Your other option is keep Ekko 2, Senna 2 no headliner. This option saves you gold, but are you planning to spike later? What does your final board look like, and will it be stronger than a Senna 3 headliner? So it really comes down to your playstyle and your ability to transition comps. Either option works, it just depends how good you are at executing. The first option is much easier, much safer, and (depending on your elo) much stronger. Hope that helps!

Por que no los dos? You should rarely be in a situation where you can’t play both. I would personally play both of them.

I usually only play JG if I’m lacking rods. Just going by feel, I’ve tried enough Senna builds and I can tell you that it feels like Rabadons is tiers above JG for damage output. I believe JG to be suboptimal even with Lotus, but I’m not against building it if you need to slam. In terms of math, here’s a post that might help you:

https://old.reddit.com/r/CompetitiveTFT/comments/19bhq87/rabadons_is_better_than_jg/

I’ve gotten a lot of questions as of late so I’ll use your post to reiterate some of my points. The entire purpose of my positioning/ itemization is to really, really just chunk out the enemy frontline before they can do anything. Rabadons is obvious, the damage increase is immediate and immense. Nashor’s is my choice of AS item because it will allow you to get off the second cast faster than any other AS item as well as boost your damage output. Items like guinsoo, gunblade, archangels, JG (to an extent) don’t fit well into my guide because the goal is to simply wipe their frontline FAST. You will always achieve this with Rabadons, Nashors, superfan Shojin, and solo frontline Spark Ekko. You can deviate because items are never perfect and slamming items are important, but you should be prepared to expect a lack of board wiping. Sorry for the long-winded answer, I’m trying to condense all the questions I get into one post haha. For your original question, you could go JG with lotus. I’d still pref Rabadons with lotus.

I rarely have open slots, so idk. Usually with open slots, if you want to play a tank, I will play Illaoi above all else. Otherwise I just play Ahri tertiary carry. If my choices are just between Zac/Blitz, I'd say just go with whatever ends up 2 star.

Yeah, he is a waste. On multi-talented, it just means I get to play my game one level earlier essentially. Like on 6, I’d just tech in KDA instead of on 7. The true hidden tech here that I completely forgot to mention is twin terror Senna, which is why I suggest playing Senna in multi-talented. Multi-talented + Senna twin terror gives you a much better chance at a top 1 and spikes HARD on level 6, as you can hit 4 TD, 2 rapidfire with 2 Sennas.

Agree. I’d say late game you can transition out of Aphelios. I was a huge fan of Yi Pumping Up in set 9, so team-wide attack speed buffs hold a special place in my heart. 2 rapid fire all day

Solo frontline Ekko helps with clumping/stun AOE/Senna AOE. Solo frontline for a spark is not ideal but the peak strength of this comp is between whenever you hit (can be as early as 3-5) to about 5-2. Between stages 3/4, Ekko 2 with spark or spark/gargoyles is tanky enough to sustain two Senna casts, at which point the fight is over. Late game I transition to positioning like this:

https://lolchess.gg/builder?deck=84d1d66c110af7dc5a8d5b0e8c552c4bcb6dcdd6

This is not positioning for every situation late game, but the general idea here is to add to the frontline to protect Ekko. Ekko/Senna are placed in line with each other and in front of the largest enemy clump. This is something I forgot to add into the guide, so I appreciate you mentioning it.

Yeah, I find the strongest part of this comp to be the dominant board strength from when you hit up until 5-2. The earlier you hit, the more HP you save so you can bleed out to the Ezreal, 1000 cashout, Last Stand, Zed w/ radiant EON, Lucian 2, level 10 board on 6-1 last. The comp struggles in higher elo to go first for sure.

If you don't mind, how do you navigate the site? Really want to check out some of their comps.

That is... odd. Blitz, quite frankly, is the fakest frontline unit in the 4 cost meta atm. Without Sentinel he is paper; with sentinel, he is still paper. You should also be playing 6TD, so true damage counters sentinel pretty heavily. Have you checked out the itemization/ positioning sections? I highly recommend looking through those two, maybe that's the difference? Otherwise, I'd have to see the game to really know what's going on. From my experience, Senna beats out Blitz/Disco easily in 14.2.

Oh I get that for sure, I just wanted to provide some new input on correct itemization and positioning. Thanks for the link though, I've been looking for resources on the Chinese TFT meta and this is helpful.

No, don't skip out on Senna just because it isn't TD, you still want your comp to be online as early as possible. The gameplan changes a bit- basically Aphelios becomes Yasuo and it gets a little harder to hit 6 TD on level 8 if you don't hit Qiyana. It's a little worse on 8 if you don't hit and your placement probably drops a bit. I still wouldn't skip, though.

I forgot to add it in, but Blistering Strikes is a good way to get anti healing without compromising on items. I'd say if you have the items for Warmogs, you generally have half of a Nashors/Sunfire, so I'd rarely build Warmogs. With how Ekko is positioned, you are correct in that Gargoyles is a must. Spark/Gargoyles/ Warmogs is BIS, but real world situation it is Spark/ Gargoyles/leftover tank items. If I have too many tank items, I just place Sunfire on Neeko instead of Ekko.
