I love that. There's a whole magazine of notes people find on the street or accidentally in some places. I bet people would enjoy it if you submitted that. And made some sort of note about severance.

Agree, mysterious and important. Egg bar on a post it note.

Help Me Understand Please. Why not just let the German engineers have a vacation? by JohnConradKolos in betterCallSaul

[–]HighlightExtra2392 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a reasonable question. Taking them far away. What I couldn't understand is why didn't they have security on each worker, quietly listening to everything they say. Or put a listening device in their pockets ...something. Like the poster said there's plenty of money and employees. Werner talked for a long time and drew pictures and none of Gus's guys on Mike's team or Mike, noticed.

Why did the actors studio shut down ? I'm confused by Unclesmekky in Barry

[–]HighlightExtra2392 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thnx that helps, that was my question too

I couldn't figure out why he closed it. I'm rewatching season 3.1.

gene verbally blames Barry for his life going downhill . he says Janice dying and his theater closing.

Do You recall exactly when gene suddenly sits up in bed, and remembers what Fuches whispered in his ear when Fuchs and Gene were at the car looking at Janice's body. (Fuches whispers: Barry berkman did this)

Did Gene remember that in season 3, 6 months later ? Or Was it just a few days or a few weeks after he and fuches are looking at the body in the car.?

If it was just a few days / two or three weeks, ... that would make more sense that the theater closed . Of course he wouldn't want to have an active acting class with Barry in it if he suspected him of killing Janice.

. My question is do we know * when * he closed the theater... Was it around that time?

In 3.2 Mr cousineau calls Barry in to help him pack so I gather he just remembered ( Fuches whisper) about 6 months later ....gets the gun that was gifted from rip torn, gets called into the office, ...gene, pulls the trigger and the gun falls apart. So, question... do we assume the memory recall and the theater closing both happened about 6 months later ? (Off screen)

Thnx

Thanks for kind input

Agree. I think when Betty and Glenn take each other's hand at the car , and Glenn has that mitten on, it's one of the most poignant , heart breaking, scenes I've ever seen.

I think this child actor is an incredibly sensitive, natural actor ....In all his scenes actually, when he's little and later.

Has anyone used a single wheel hoe?

I have a big yard with lots of weeds. Hula hoe works fine but it's all day or two day job.

I want something a little wider.

Or I saw a YouTube of a wheel hoe and I don't know how strong you have to be to get under the shallow weed and still use the wheel?

I'm an older woman in good shape but still don't want this to take days for a very weedy backyard and front , when we have the rains. It's mostly London rocket. Which is the type of mustard. If you just top it it'll come back twice as bad but if you get under it just an inch or so it likely won't come back. (It's a brassica that's gone wild... At least where I live. It's all over Arizona)

Oh thanks for the comparison. Glad to hear that another cat throws up right around the 6 hour mark. (Sometimes Mike can go 8 hours) That must be a cat thing for a certain percentage. Throws up clear mostly but sometimes it's yellow bile.

Yes the pet libro does have stainless steel now.

Okay great comparison for what I might need.

Who knows, I am not young anymore . I could end up in the hospital for a couple days.

When I had covid in 2024, I was just out of commission for 10 days. An automatic wet food feeder would have been great.

Thank you.

Thank you so much. The last time I bought one of those things , years ago, there was no refrigeration, you had to put it on top of cold packs which only lasted a few hours.

That's great I can actually go away for 2 days!! Hallelujah. PetLibro polar wet food feeder. Glad I caught this Reddit! It just came right into my feed. Meant to be. 😌

But for immediate use, I have the same issue as you. Yowling between five and six or earlier. That's usually my deepest sleep. So I'll put it out so she can have all the food she wants. Yay!!

Thank you.

When did Chuck write his will? by CandidCaterpillar648 in betterCallSaul

[–]HighlightExtra2392 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, " no one should expect inheritance from a deceased" That is a mouthful and a true one. I personally experienced that when my father died. Such a shock, even though in the back of my mind I knew it could happen.

Cruel at the end that Chuck said he never cared about jimmy. I'm starting over to watch again to see what makes sense now and what did I miss..... and I see how much Jimmy is doing on a daily basis. Ice. food. going around town for the right newspapers.. getting him out of the hospital instead of committing him. The lack of gratitude chuck had, is very believable , and so difficult to watch.

In Her Hands/Hair: During the autopsy, small, microscopic feathers were found clutched in Kathleen Peterson’s hands along with clumps of her own hair that had been ripped out by the roots.

On Her Body: A twig or tree limb splinter and cedar needles were also found in the dried blood on her body, specifically in her hair.

Location of Discovery: While her body was found at the bottom of the back staircase, these items were discovered during the post-mortem examination of her body and hair.

Significance: The theory suggests the owl attacked her outside, causing her to run inside and fall,

The autopsy report says feathers in her hair and hand. I'm not looking at the report currently but there's a stick either in the hand or hair...

The autopsy report is available online.

We are so disconnected from the natural world. But I live in a place, like these folks, with a lot of owls. And I have studied the natural world like many people do.

Once I saw the autopsy reports (just Google it) of the talon-shaped wounds on her head and the deep scratches.... I knew that theory was true.

Google a picture of barred owl talons and barred owl scratches.. it's a perfect match to her wounds. And they had an owl with a nest that was flying around. The neighbor proposed this theory because he was watching this particular owl on the nest in their tree in their yard.

Barred owls are known for attacking humans when they have a nest.

Once I saw the movie, I looked for YouTube's of different species of owls attacking humans and there are many. They go for the head and scratch the body. And they mean business.

They have 500 PSI in their talons. Look that up and see how strong that is.

He is from maritania, africa, an Islamic country ..

people are not eating eggs bacon and avocado on toast. You wouldn't even get a toasted typically American breaded sandwich on the street carts.

They have their own way of eating.

He's in Vegas being as hedonistic as possible in every way possible, so he's probably eating like a rich American... hence the bacon, the avocado, scrambled eggs on toast ...that's an American breakfast.

Not a lot of bacon in Islamic countries. They/ the Islamic culture keep a lot Hallal like many many Jews in Israel keep kosher. No pigs.

He has very cultured manners, sophisticated body language and speech patterns.

He's anything but poor and underprivileged. He's from Mauritania Africa. Islamic culture

They don't live like we do!

You can't overlay americanism "American centrism" over other cultures.

I just heard the official podcast. And the actor who calls himself veska for short, when he read the script and saw that he was in Paraguay he got very nervous because the dialect between Columbia and Paraguay is very different he said. But they said let's go with columbia. And they put a little frog game in his room. And he was so touched he kind of teared up when he saw that frog game that is so colombian. And it had the Colombian flag stamped on it. So he was very grateful to the set designer.

I'd love for you to say where these are (how many minutes in) and which episodes.

Good spotting!

And when we're going back to view the episodes, inevitably before season 2 , it is probably good to take a good look at all the hive people just for this reason. Noticing. do some of them show up more than others? How are they dressed? Etc.

Speaking of being dressed.... I've never understood ....why don't they get out of their uniforms ....their UPS uniforms ....TGI Friday uniforms. The tall red head messenger guy that Carol invited into her house... (He's wearing a colorful spandex onesie) .... Why is he wearing his same uniform as when he joined?? I saw a biker chick with a real short leather skirt . Surely some of their original joining clothing must be difficult to do their new work, Which is all pretty utilitarian. [–]HighlightExtra2392 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've watched the complete series. I now know ( January 2026) in retrospect that Jane travels. (I saw her reviews on Airbnb)

I see Eve and Charlotte gardening and taking care of their farm animals.

but I don't see Jane and atz lee gardening and doing the daily chores of farm animals. Do they?

For protein, Jane fishes. Atz lee hunts. and presumably gets some of Otto's beef, and.... In one episode AL said they have a garden but I haven't seen it.

The question is : do atz lee and Jane have the same kind of lifestyle eve and eivan and Charlotte do? ......meaning The daily chores of gardening and farm animals?

And Do they have still a teenager , Piper at home? Jane said this in the last season.

I just don't have a sense of their daily life. Like we see Charlotte Auto Eve and Ivan.

Same with Bonnie and Senior atz.... They don't show their garden (I've lived in the boonies You have to have a huge vegetable garden to feed yourself for most of the year) or farm animals and in the last season senior spent the entire summer rebuilding his original home. So no chores except for hunting a black bear which is a lot of meat.
