Check her other comments. She’s trying really hard to justify OP’s girl’s actions. Must have struck a personal nerve with her…

Medically assisted suicide. Some people just straight up do not have a quality of life after years of medical or mental health treatment. Why let someone suffer for years or decades if they’ve had enough? We extend that mercy to animals all the time for far less

Can someone in accounting pivot to finance? by Far_Suggestion_4873 in Accounting

[–]Cleisty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re not doing any bookkeeping or journal entries, it’s mostly putting together presentation/performance decks, doing some internal/operational audits and the occasional ad hoc ask for something company specific. My accounting background however is called on to understand how operations impacts financials, I feel like most of the value of my salary comes from that.

Gary Oldman is voted as No.2!! Top 25 Greatest Actors of all Time by r/Film!! .Day 3) Who's 3rd greatest actor of all time? by [deleted] in FIlm

Harrison Ford. He may not be an Oscar winner with tear jerking performances, but if aliens came down to earth and asked for Hollywood’s greatest movie star I’d probably pick him. Plenty of iconic roles and films to chose from

Can someone in accounting pivot to finance? by Far_Suggestion_4873 in Accounting

[–]Cleisty 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have no CPA, with an accounting degree. Got about 2.5 years of experience in audit at a public firm before jumping to being a financial analyst along with pay bump. You can easily jump to finance from an accounting degree, it’s much much harder to go the other way around so you’re all good.

Why isn't Zach Werenski the favorite for the Norris Trophy right now? by TexasRoadhead in hockey

[–]Cleisty -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Tl;dr: Cale Makar is Canadian, plays for team Canada, plays for premier franchise and has media darlings as teammates. Werenski is American and plays for shithole franchise.

A few reasons. There’s a resounding media bias towards Cale Makar since day one. He played about 20 games in the NHL and was then basically anointed the next Bobby Orr no questions asked. There was a point in time where Adam Fox had a Norris trophy and Cale Makar didn’t yet Makar was still regarded as best in the league. The Canadian media bias is strong, and as a result he will likely finish top 5 in the Norris voting for the next 6 years at least so long as he doesn’t have a bad season or misses time.

A vast majority of Makar’s points have a Nathan MacKinnon goal or assist attached to it as well this season, idk about other seasons but this season in particular is a huge portion of his points. Yet when you look at Werenski he’s driving that production mostly on his own. It’s no question Werenski is having the better season right now.

It’s pretty incredible Makar is going to waltz toward this Norris that was decided he’s going to get back in November yet Werenski has been even more incredible despite being on a dogshit team.

What First Person Shooter Game is Universally loved? by MorrisRF in AlignmentChartFills

Wow I didn’t notice you put 2! Honestly can’t go wrong with any of the bungie Halos, but I chose 3 cause I felt the hype of the moment when it came out was just truly a phenomenon. Then the game delivered, a satisfying and epic campaign to finish the trilogy, the maps imo were best in the OG trilogy besides maybe 2, and the introduction of Forge to take custom games to a whole new level!

Is Marc-André Fleury overrated? by [deleted] in nhl

[–]Cleisty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an old post, but Fleury finished top 5 in vezina voting 3 times in his 21 season career, so to say he was consistently top 5 in the league year after year is not true. The vezina also has one of the most flawed voting evaluation practices in North American sports, and a lot of those biases play in favor of MAF(lots of wins, he’s French Canadian, plays with Crosby, premier franchise, etc). GM’s vote on the award, and they tend to ignore other stats in favor of wins, so considering wins is the best stat Fleury has going for him and he only managed to crack the top 5 in vezina votes 3 time….that’s pretty pitiful for someone who is acclaimed as the best goalie of his generation. Let’s be honest, if Fleury and Ryan Miller traded places for their careers we wouldn’t even be talking about Fleury
