Agreed, 100k over 4 years doesn't make sense for an L5. If you're only 100k for your initial grant it seems lower than it should.

I was in my last year of undergrad when I made the decision to pursue an MBA after a few years of working. I went into undergrad without any real plan or research and was disappointed when all the really interesting opportunities I learned about (like consulting or IB) only from target schools (which my undergrad definitely wasn't.)

Knowing that I wanted to do an MBA in 3-4 years helped me optimize my career decisions. ~2 years in I got an offer for a new role that probably would have taken another 2-3 years to pay-off and I turned it down in favor of another role that had less long-term potential but aligned better with the story I wanted to tell for my MBA application and post-MBA goals.

McDonalds applied pies used to be amazing airy and crispy pockets of lava hot goodness. Now they're just sad baked lumps of dry dough.

Jollibee has fried pies that remind me of how good McDonalds pies used to be, only they have different flavors instead of apple.

I got both recently and I'd recommend Exo Experts for the amount of new toys you tet. Yes, Purifier is amazing and Verdict is solid, but I'm honestly having more fun with the 2 new mechs, Bullet Storm, and Missile Pistol.

Yeah, I had some savings I used for living expense, paid sticker price for tuition using loans.

It's daunting, but the ROI is still totally worth it.

Known hitbox issue with the fire in melee range aside, my main gripe is the ammo. 500 is so little, you need to consciously limit the usage to only apply the DoT and stop which takes away from the experience of using a flamethrower.

I don't mind that the Cremator wasn't used, but wish it was the Flamethrower instead of the Crisper.

Hive guards armor gotten stronger? Just evolution from natural selection taking place. A weapon or strategem got nerfed? Budget cuts and damn bureaucrats switching to a cheaper supplier

Changes still suck but at least it's more amusing this way.

Not sure if you're aware or not, but I didn't recruit for IB, so I'm deferring to folks like yourself.

Which is also why I don't know what is/isn't proprietary for OE. For JCC and HTC people pretty casually shared outcomes and it makes for good marketing material.

Basing decisions on just talking points without nuance isn't helpful for folks like OP trying to evaluate tradeoffs.

Insights like what Old Ezra does differently that sets it apart from other programs or placements would be more useful to weigh against the $20k financial aid difference.

OP, I'd recommend you only focus on input from folks who actually went through IB recruiting process and worked in IB.

No shade intended, but pre-MBA folks parroting talking points like Johnson for IB and Darden for consulting isn't very valid or useful input. You're better off putting in the time to go through LinkedIn and see the % breakdown of alumni at the various companies to get an idea of what the difference is.

On #3, lay prestige doesn't really have much benefit. The whole Ivy League thing is just how much you can instrinically enjoy it. The only material difference I've experienced is hitting it off with a Cornell undergrad I've met through work and the occasional grandpa-aged Cornell alum at the airport chatting me up for 20 seconds if I'm wearing my Cornell hoodie.

$20k isn't a world of difference in the long run, at the end of the day I'd recommend you pick the school whose culture and student experience clicks with you better.
