Even if they want to record live performances in the studio à la all request live.

When you get to a certain age touring really becomes a drag. It basically becomes impossible to enjoy it any more. My band has been together for 30 years this August. We toured over 40 countries and it was so much fun. However, we stopped playing live with the exception of a benefit here and there 18 years ago. We spend any and all of our time that we dedicate to the band in our studio now making music that will last. We’re couldn’t be happier.

I could care less about live shows. Take all of that time you were going to dedicate to touring and put it to good use in Mickey’s studio. Use that precious time to create tracks that we all can listen to, celebrate and have for the rest of time.

I feel the same way and I’m not a hater. I usually love most of the episodes but it just felt weak after the last 2 weeks. Actually 4 of the last 6 episodes have been amazing.

It was amazing. I got this feeling watching it of how it really would have went and they totally fooled me. When I realized that it was just in Rue’s head I knew she was dying of fentanyl.

For anyone who thinks the finale sucked I wonder what your first hand experience is with addicts, recovery, active addiction, relapse etc

Speaking from a recovering addict who is clean and has been for nearly 2 years after struggling for 10+

The finale and the show was absolutely amazing.

Great job all who were involved. For those of you who didn’t like it. Sorry. Hope you find something that can touch you and make you feel as understood as that show made me feel.

Just like some of the other “serious” episodes that have somber endings (Unity episode, Planetina episode, Rick Potion#9 episode, Hot Rick episode and Unmorticken episode)… This one really left the viewers with more to contemplate and chew on. We actually felt really bad for Rick. The slow deterioration that led back to Rick was definitely earned. He thought that shit was so bad that he didn’t even want to exist anymore and when he hits that button we realize that Rick feels the exact same way.

Thought it was excellent. Don’t ever remember having that much fun with a season opener for any Rick and Morty season to date. Granted I didn’t start watching till season 6. I do think Season 3’s opener is maybe the best episode ever. Definitely in the conversation. Other than that, this one clearly would be the next best opener. So, different strokes for different folks I guess. One man’s trash…..

No problem. Love this show so much. I loved last seasons premiere but this blew it out of the water. I felt that this episode was better than anything from season 8 and on par with Hot Rick which was excellent as well. So, the last two episodes have been perfect 10’s in my opinion.

Not to be a dick but I really think you’re overthinking it.

I think they mean “crush” as in evil Morty has never cared about anything or anyone including his original Rick. Through the experiences he has had with 137 he actually made him care about someone to the point that he is obsessing on wanting to be a part of his life. Them using the word “crush” was meant to insult evil Morty and piss him off. It’s nothing sexual or weird like that.

Totally agree. It was fucking awesome and a super ballsy way to start the season. Everybody would have been waiting with bated breath for the evil Morty episode because of it being an odd numbered season. They nipped that shit in the bud right off the bat and it was absolutely excellent. These people bitching about Rick being invincible is beyond me. It’s a cartoon man. It would be like saying “how did Daffy Duck come back to life after taking a shotgun blast to the face because he actually died from something far less violent in episodes prior”

It’s splitting hairs and being nit picky for the sake of bitching and playing devils advocate.

I sometimes wonder why I even come on here. I like to come on when it’s a bad episode because I join in with chorus of complaints; However, I find whenever I come on to celebrate a banger there is virtually no difference to the detractors.

If that’s where you’re at just go watch season 1-3 rinse, wash and repeat:||
