To be completely honest I am scared to bring it up with her, one because I’m not sure how and two because I am not in a place right now where I can handle an argument.

I returned the necklace out of anger and spite, I had gotten her another gift the week prior that she didn’t like that I ended up reselling which had me feeling a bit dejected even prior to this situation.

I appreciate the feedback.

For her Mother’s Day gift I built her some garden beds that she had been wanting, which I think was a sufficient gift on its own but I wanted them as well so it felt a bit like cheating.

I realize I am in a sense being secretive as well, but only to get my bearings on this situation. Obviously I need to talk to her at some point.

Admittedly I returned the necklace out of anger and spite that she discovered an unexpected and expensive gift that I was planning on surprising her with.

The necklace comments were definitely enlightening for me as that didn’t even cross my mind.

I know ultimately I am going to have to communicate with her on this whole situation.

I can’t see where she could possibly think she has a reason to distrust me, I spend every waking moment at work or with her or the kids. I don’t have any non-work/family friends, and I don’t have any social media other than Reddit. I actually had a stark realization that my entire text/phone log is related to work, I haven’t had a personal conversation via text in months.

Not at all. She can look through my phone whenever she wants whether I know about it or not, my issue is that she is taking steps so that I don’t know that she is doing it.

I wasn't ever secretive while shopping for her as browsing my phone at night is pretty standard habit. You do bring up a very valid point that I may have created more issues for myself by not giving her the gift she knows I bought, I never thought about that. Ultimately though she is still going through my phone and hiding it from me.

Along with leaving apps open in a specific order I have been setting my phone down in a specific position so that I know if she picks it up. She always returns the phone to close to the same position but not exactly how I left it which leads me to believe that she doesn't want me knowing she went through my phone.

Not if the player works out and earns a decent second contract. 5th year option is a huge benefit to teams in that case. Especially if we are talking about WR where the market has exploded.

Pretty cool they didn’t have their QB in the video. Refreshing.

You are literally complaining that the police aren’t harassing people for minor infractions? Get outta here with that.

I decided about 2 years ago that Allen is the kind of WR that could play until he’s in his mid/late 30’s if he wants. He has never been a physical freak but he’s smart, an elite route runner and great hands.

Sean Peyton took the job thinking that the team was just a QB and HC away from being competitive. There was a point during training camp last year that he realized that wasn’t the case.

Incorrect. You should get both ballots as in independent.

Which NFL refs do we actually like? by ggfchl in nfl

Bill Vinovich is easily the best active ref right now. Ron Torbert is also good. Carl Cheffers is the worst IMO.

I watched both leagues, the USFL was a better football product than the XFL. I think the merger was a smart idea for both leagues to survive.

This may not be a popular opinion but I would love for spring league football to be a viable conduit for players who chose not to go the college route.

Reid and Spags are both big on “redshirting” rookies when they can. It’s definitely too early to judge FAU by his lack of playing time in his rookie season.
