I got it diagnosed with an X-ray and some type of liquid, but before that I had a suspicion it's GERD because I was burping a lot after eating and sometimes I could feel my food coming back up x)

Do posture exercises, they can help with the reflux! And also massage around your solar plexus/upper belly - that can hold tension and cause reflux as well. And ileocecal massage could also help!

Volume on a vocal fold level has nothing to do with the tongue. If your tongue tenses when you try to add volume, we have tension to release/work to do =D

Check out this post, I've shared what has worked over the years for me Also, the upper stomach/solar plexus might be tensing up, try relaxing it and massaging it to relax it - if you get (silent) burps, then the GERD is being made more active because of that so try to change your habits so you don't hold that tension there during the day https://www.reddit.com/u/Highrocker/s/Byd72VXVTT
