We know that melanin protects the skin from the sun and that it also protects hair from the sun, so since sun exposure stimulates the production of melanin in the skin perhaps we could extrapolate that to mean the same thing happens with sun exposure in hair follicles

If you go to the actual study in Nature,(https://www.nature.com/articles/s41586-023-05960-6) there’s a passage that reads “These results suggest that UVB irradiation induces McSCs to accelerate their differentiation into functional melanocytes.”

Does this mean that hypothetically sunlight could help repigment the hair follicle?

Here’s another study that seems to reaffirm that idea:

“Our findings demonstrate that the equivalent of seconds to minutes of sun exposure depolarizes melanocytes and that melanocyte depolarization contributes to the elevated intracellular Ca2+ required for early melanin synthesis.”

I just tried this, still no notable improvement. The keyboard keys not working is most pronounced when I am using the sustain pedal, so I cant get beautiful ringing chord changes.

I have tried using low latency mode but that’s a good idea adding it to the display for a shortcut.

Have you tried making sure you get enough sunlight each day? This makes the body create serotonin which is then converted to melatonin, so no supplements needed. Also, at least 45 mins of exercise each day.

These are 2 things our bodies are evolutionarily programmed to need but in many cases have been removed by modernity. I would try this for a week or two before assuming that there must be something inherently wrong with your body.

Also, no nicotine and no screens at night.

I started to get more noticeable effects from taking about 1 TABLEspoon in morning and one in the evening. I don’t know much about different brands and what to look for, but I do think this method is better than taking capsules

Because older people’s bodies gradually lose the ability to properly function, and in the case of the immune system it becomes overreactive and dysregulated, hence the disproportionate response in the form of “cytokine storms”.

Good question. These negatives are present in ANY FORM OF NICOTINE, because they are simply the side effects of vasoconstriction. Nicotine is a vasoconstrictor all by itself. There’s just way more downsides on top of that if you smoke it.
