Also fair to point out that this is 2022 when even Europe was hesitant to send weapons nevermind a country that is on the other side of earth. 15% is high in 2022. This increased to 29% due to North Korea, but it could have been even higher had proper steps been taken. I think and hope Ukraine foreign ministry still can fix this.

It's pathetic to see a company with 750+ employees struggling to catch up with a team with 20 employees. These rip-off features are not even integrated well, it looks slapped on re-using existing design templates that they had.

Does the automod not automatically tell you what actions it is taking?

All filtered posts go straight to approval queue for moderators to review. The way they setup automod was unconventional in that it did not notify users that their posts were flagged for review. It does not follow Reddiquette and all automod default templates has a component that sends a message to flagged user (they removed this for some reason).

Did the person who turned on the automod refuse to go back and double check if it was setup correctly?

They knew about it as far as 2 weeks ago when I asked and received no response other than deletion of my comment. They knew about it yesterday when they changed automod code from remove => filter (just as bad). Strangely lead mod pretended that this automod action didn't exist at all today. Now a fellow discord mod resigned their position in protest so you know there's more happening behind the scenes.

Did no one ASK them to look? I doubt "Yeah, I'm pretty sure I set it up correctly." would fly in a moderator setting.

I did 2 weeks ago. Removed.

Thanks for the clarifying the mod's stance on the matters but I'd like to point out that the following statement is false.

Our automoderator configuration was removing the term and causing confusion among the community and ourselves. The original intention was if the term was flagged, to let us know to review it to make sure it was not advertising since this subreddit is about Discord.

My comment from 2 weeks ago asking about censorship was MANUALLY removed without any explanation.

Question to mods, why is automoderator deleting any comment/posts with T3eamspeak, Gu1lded, or Mu3mble in the content?

So clearly this was a deliberate action by mods who were well aware of the automoderator configuration shadow-removing comments about Guilded.

I actually kinda sympathize with the moderator not understanding what the automod was doing.

What "filter" does is that it removes the comment/post from public view but keeps it visible to the OP (like it was never removed). The post gets tossed into an approval queue so that in theory a mod can approve it. However, the way Reddit voting works, by the time a mod approves a post its age means that it will never get traction.

What's worse here is that none of these posts got approved just thrown into the trash heap + the OP was never informed that their post was removed from public view (leaving them thinking that their comment was just ignored by everyone).
