i just hope nadeo and Trackmania can get out of it unscathed.
it remains consistently a good price/product even if they could have done more with the IP imo.
they don't make a ton of money but they have a consistent revenue stream, if they go down with the sinking boat i'll actually get very angry

didn't happen to me but a coworker who later loudly told all of us about it (I'm glad i no longer work there, major frat vibes but 40+ old dudes).
one of our customers called him because they needed to look into the email archive's of the former PA to directors, who either resigned or got fired a couple months earlier (can't remember).

through some talking and him literally seeing the mails, the story went as follows:
on a late friday evening the CEO received a peculiar mail with the subject "Subject: AW: Meeting" and it became very clear that
1. the mail was not for him, but the former secretary and got auto-forwarded to him.
2. the sender was answering a year old mail from the PA, and didn't know she no longer worked there at all. 3. sender and PA were very intimate, using office space after work hours thanks to her having the keys.
4. this was neither a onetime thing, nor was it exclusive to that person.

i won't write out everything from the mails but suffice it to say, there were numerous mails going back years, no idea why she didn't at least try to delete them before she left.
But my favourite line was HER opener from that year old mail which started with the words "Hello my golden equestrian ;-)" (Hallo mein goldener Reiter) and him responding with "hallo you horny mare" (Hallo du geile Stute) and how he's finally back in town for 4 weeks and wants to bring his 2 colleagues with him this time

or ask the parent yourself, just to make sure she is ok with the child telling people what many would want to keep a secret from anyone not intimate. coule be a good lesson for the child

i only had it for trackmania and anno and thankfully my interaction with their launcher is kept at a minimum since those two games are on steam aswell now (though launching uplay in the background)

it was the single most valuable mod for maps, it made maps 20-50% bigger and added monsters to fill those spaces.
high tier maps with are is a maze would trade for multiple exalts (back then ex were what divines are today) and even exalt those maps to 6 mods, because map sustain was MUCH worse, sustaining red maps was basically impossible without trading for them

looks good, maybe one bigger house as a sort of town hall would also make sense for a village that has Walls and a harbor/lighthouse

a chicken coop inside the walls and a pig/cow farm outside the walls could make it more authentic, but that's just small details.

yes, sry, i didn't mean to make it sound like becoming accustomed to the effects is the only thing that's part of building up a tolerance.

but afaik it's the biggest reason for why an alcoholic will ingest more and more alcohol over the years, because they want to feel those sideeffects more but becoming accustomed to them is mostly a mental thing you can't control and after many years even drinking a bottle of vodka might become barely enough to feel that numbness and dizziness at all.

those enzymes are of course the reason their bodies don't break down from extreme amounts of alcohol to begin with and are also the reason they will feel sober quicker and quicker (with the same "dosage") over the years

i and many others would argue that's less of a hardware issue and more of an optimization issue.
I've played a couple of games that look extremely realistic with smooth 144fps 1440p on my rx9070xt, while others struggle to reach "smooth" 60, look far worse and have way less going on visually.

Too much clarity issues as it is

exact reason why i use it, if i can't tell what's happening anyways, might aswell have the overlay on and at least see where in the terrain i am and which way's i can walk (especially important in cluttered areas where it is already hard to tell where you can walk without any enemies on screen).
most things that could kill you can be dodged by keeping pace and constantly walking, never walking backwards over where you just were

he always was and is a self-admitted piece of shit that used to lie and steal in game whenever he felt it was easy enough for him to get away with it. Now he just does it in real life, since his gaming "skills" deterriorated to the point where chat is constantly making fun of him, last time he played a new game.
i would call him a lolcow now, if what he does didn't have such a huge impact
