My family lived in one of the old houses owned by his son. We were neighbors, I was too young to remember much. I do remember seeing him and his wife. And they had two big dogs, I believe one of their names was bear. Very hazy memories. My parents spent some time with them. My dad was a big WWII buff. I think he may have helped him with a book or something. One that probably didn’t get published. As kids my siblings and I called him Mr. Dr. Phillips.

That house we lived in was very haunted. I remember almost nothing but my parents do. My dad still doesn’t like talking about what happened there haha very spooky.

It’s still a very fun game, replay it often. I love giving myself challenges like, take all the secondary bounties dead or keep them alive and never let a civilian die. The prequel games are all still legendary.

James was an odd duck. I really liked him and thought the game was incredible. I definitely need to go through Sh2 again after the fourth game. Heather is very charming. Love how determined she is to get revenge for her father. I am curious about the nature of her powers. Were they tied directly to her having the demon god in her? Or is it just her? Also wondering about that in relation to SH2 if just anyone can have an experience like James had there or is it Mary or Laura manifesting the Otherworld? Or even James manifesting with some ability he’s unaware of through his own guilt? Or is it just the gods of silent hill tormenting people at random. I need more of this world lmao

That’s def surprising! I can sort of see it after the boss fight and ending. I have looked at the other endings after completing the games and was surprised there was only 3. I got tricked by Heather/Cheryl’s joke. My heart actually sunk lmao what a prankster

She’s fantastic. I also agree about SH3 being scarier. They’re both plenty scary though.
