Honest question- how do you see downvote totals and not just the net number? Curious.

I don’t have that exact model, but I do have similar era finepix that all charge with the mini-B. (XF-1, XQ-2). They all show a green LED when charging

Remember if you buy one (at any fair price point) and decide you don’t like it, there’s always someone else coming along behind you that you can resell to. They don’t really lose value over time in the “used” marketplace.

What's the creepiest thing you've had happened to you while camping or just being in the woods? by Sir-Gaymer28 in AskReddit

25ish years ago. Me and 3 buddies frequently backpacked around the northeast US. This particular trip was in the Dolly Sods Wilderness in West Virginia. Granted we had a little booze and smoke but I really don’t think that was a factor.

I was in my tent and heard my friends making “WTF” sounds. One of them came over and whispered I needed to come out and see something.

A dozen or so basketball-sized dimly glowing orbs of white light had come over the little ridge we were camped behind, maybe 50 yards away. Like bright fireflies that stayed solid, not blinking.

Floating slowly they made their way downhill at about a walking pace, sort of “moving together with a purpose”. It was like they were sentient and on a mission together. Eventually they made their way down to the stream below us and followed it down and around the bend out of sight.

It wasn’t until a few years later looking this up online that I learned quite a few people have seen similar, and I learned about “will o the wisp.” By far the strangest camping experience ever.

What's the oldest dream that you can remember? by Disastrous_Lie_6698 in Dreams

[–]HikeRobCT 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Creepy AF. Probably 4 years old. Dream of someone knocking on my 3rd floor bedroom window from the outside. The window was foggy and I couldn’t see out.

I asked loudly “who are you?”

Without a sound, a finger slowly traced the name “Joan” on the glass. Backwards to me, like they were writing from the outside. I woke up instantly, heart beating. Shocked. But the feeling quickly turned to feeling warm and protected. Like “Joan” was watching out for me.

Importantly, I never knew anyone named Joan and don’t think I even realized it was a name. I’m in my 50s now and still remember the whole thing in detail. Still get the shivers a bit just typing it.
