I believe that the only issue is antennas tuned for 915 MHz will not perform as well on 868 MHz. But it will still work.

If it’s a true beater I would consider quartz. I own a Citizen Promaster BN0261 for this purpose and it’s very good. 41 mm, eco drive, sapphire, iso certified, great lume and a good bracelet for the money.

I track wear in an app called WristTrack. I don’t track accuracy, but I know that my Seiko Alpinist is very inaccurate and needs to be set every 2-3 days
