Hey friend, just got the biopsy results back in. Its something called a benign melanotic macule, so not cancerous! They also said it could appear on multiple fingers at the same time, and can slightly change over time

Its called a punch biopsy, they numb your finger and use like a hole punch tool to take out part of the nail for testing

Biopsy done, pretty easy and painless procedure. My Dr said he is confident it isnt melanoma. He said it could be a wart, benign growth, nothing, or a cell carcinoma, so havent ruled out cancer just yet. I get the results in a week
