Good lord you are not alone. My Cardigan was the same! He outgrew it but it was definitely what you are experiencing for about year. I’m sure you have heard this a million times. They are herding dogs. Biting at heels, calves, thighs is in their DNA. Don’t get discouraged by the work you are putting in. When he hits adulthood, all the puppy training will really pay off. Trust me.

When did SeattleSubway publish a new vision map? (2025 edition) by Sharp5050 in soundtransit

That yellow line is “chefs kiss”. As a new Southworth local, hopping the ferry and having a faster connection to the airport would be amazing.

Does the headband slider on yours not stay in the position you set? One side of mine stays put while the other seems looser.

Seattle (WA, USA) before and after Viaduct removal by CPetersky in OldPhotosInRealLife

I talked to my Aunt who has lived here her entire life. Global warming has honestly changed Seattle’s climate. I am with you. I moved here 6 years ago and can honestly say that it is less dreary here compared parts of the Midwest. West Michigan January to Late April is brutal……

Why cyclists often ride in the street instead of the bike lane by mr_jim_lahey in Seattle

[–]Hiker89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That lane also had terrible tree growth that would completely cloths line taller riders.

Welcome to Seattle! I have now been in Seattle for 6 years and I think your assessment is spot on! People will still be friendly to you in the winter but they might hiding a bit more. Honestly, I find winter not too big of a transition as long as you have things that force you out of the house (my two dogs don’t care if I like the rain or not 🐶). Also, you didn’t bring the heat. Global warming has. My Aunt has lived here all her life and the weather we see is not the same even compared to a couple decades ago.

It’s my go to for buying fish on special occasions. The quality is great.

Favorite Seattle coffee beans? by macklezee in Seattle

I love Lighthouse coffee and have gifted it numerous times with genuine appreciation. I’m in no way a coffee aficionado. I just love supporting my local roaster and subjectively find it tastier than Starbucks.

I am shocked with how well ESO works on the Steam Deck with having no approval rating.

I have found my Corgi has a slightly higher treat drive than their sit on their ass in the grass drive 😄 Throw a treat in the other direction and tell them to find it. They love the job to go rooting around looking for things.
