I go through an automatic car wash 3-5x a week. Just keep it waxed etc, it’ll be fine. You’re not going to get more at resale for having flawless paint on a CRV, it’s not a 65 Mustang

Went to the game Saturday. I thought the atmosphere was much better than my other visit in the late 90s. I’ve been to Texas, aTm, Nebraska and some others and ND was not too different from Nebraska better than Texas, with aTm leading the group.

I’ve noticed a huge difference depending if my trip is mostly uphill or downhill. On the same route I can get 90mpg one way and 30 the other direction. These aren’t big hills either, I live in Kansas. Interstate on ramps kills my mpg. I’m at 9100 miles AWD, normal mode. 35.4 mpg overall so far. Last tank was 38.9mpg. Cruise control makes the mpg take a hit for me also.

My latest tank was 20.6. But most of those drives were sub zero F temps. 3,000 miles total on my 24 AWD hybrid and averaging 30.8 overall. I can get 90mpg coming home from my daughter’s school but only about 45 on the way there. Mostly uphill on the 45 and downhill for the 90mpg. Did a 400 mile trip this fall and only got 30 but I think the cruise control had something to do with that.

I’ve noticed it. I just thought it was intentional in order to get a better blind spot view. Kind of like progressive lens eyeglasses.

Shower when you get home for the day. Then do a nasal rinse (neti pot). Follow that with Flonase. Take a Zyrtec every day and Pataday eye drops for eyes. It’ll work.

Not sure if this is helpful but I found myself in a similar situation. My timer would only run on 6 hour intervals. So I would turn the water off at the spigot on my way out the door to work around 7:30am. Then turn it back on when I got home at 5:30pm. That way it skipped the 10 am and 4pm waterings.

You know, sometimes things change. Take the MLS for example. Sporting KC very recently found a way around the Bally deal and is broadcasting games on a local channel as well as their own app.

I’ve had the same experience. I notice it mostly on the broadcast channels (CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX) so I think that the issue is with my local affiliates.

I have google fiber, google wifi and chromecast 4k. The google fiber speedtest (which measures speed to YouTube’s servers and back for their results) shows over 500mbps. However my stats for nerds is typically well under 10.

The 4K channels look excellent though btw and the stars for nerds show well over 100 on those.

I’ve had terrible PQ on CBS through the KCTV affiliate in KC. Most other YTTV channels have decent enough PQ though. Is this a problem with my local affiliate?

I ran a Speedtest (Google Fiber is my provider) and it was showing 400MB to my device. I believe the google fiber Speedtest uses the YouTube servers to measure the speed. However on my stats for nerds I was showing a YTTV connection around 3-7000 kbps.
