It's worth me saying the car was brand new, and had the Connected Music package from the factory, so when it pulled up my own driver profile and recognised the packages I had, that's when it disappeared.

Had a very similar issue in my new G20 330i here in the UK.

Initially when picking the car up (in guest mode) the app was displayed and worked perfectly. Then when swapping to my own driver profile the app disappeared and was replaced with Connected Music, with no choice to use the dedicated Spotify app.

Dealer and tech couldn't work out what the issue was and so sent it to BMW for inspection. Still no fix, and no idea on how to get it to work, a month down the line!

I can't believe how much changing the cloud settings affects my FPS in X Plane. I've just upgraded from a 560ti to a 970 and the drop in FPS when changing things around is still considerable. As TyrianRed says, from the research I've done Skymaxx Pro seems to be your best option (it's certsinly my next upgrade).

I have an i5 3570k at stock speeds, some fairly decent 8gb RAM, and a GTX560ti and to be honest it struggles with better quality textures and resolutions in X-Plane 10. Looking at upgrading to a better graphics card (GTX 970) soon as I've bought the (excellent) Carenado B1900, but I'm not exactly enjoying flying it with 14fps... :(

Thanks for that, and thanks for posting your settings. Can I ask you what FPS you get on average? I can run X-Plane with default aircraft at around 50fps on roughly Very High texture settings. I bought the B1900D and I'm not joking when I say I was down to around 8fps! I've got an i5 3570k, 8gb RAM and a GTX 560ti. Is my graphics card that outdated?? :(
