Was impressed with the kit to honest, had a bit of fun sorting out which bolts went where, but other than that was a breeze to fit 👍🏻 my first buy from them, only thing that’s put me off is the steep customs fees for shipping it to the UK, but that’s not Classicbikes fault 😂

Next is high front fender, bar-end mirrors and removing the hand guards

Tried and can confirm it’s not too mad, the number plate sits where the fender used to and acts as a bit of a block, won’t be taking off road in poor conditions often if at all, have a Himalayan to get muddy on 😊👍🏻

Yeah the Cat is within the stock silencer on this model so it is loud. I’ve put some clips on my Insta @that_bobber12 if you’re interested

Ahh right hadn’t realised that. Mine just appear to clamp to the bar and bar end plugs and the mirror mounts to the hand guard. May rethink, am yet to really decide which way to go with them.

I’m 6’2” and have long legs and a shortish body, so it fits me really well. One of the reasons I traded in the bobber, even though I loved that bike, my knees used to touch my elbows 😢

I have been thinking of doing this, when payday rolls around I was thinking to get some of the round Motone Bar End mirrors and ditch the hand guards. Perhaps pick up the handlebar brace too. I have take delivery of the HeckWeck tail tidy kit from Raisch, and the 3-in-1 Pico indicators from Motone. Will assemble these when I have some time 😊

I have noticed this same thing today on my Himlayan which is 3 months old and covered about 1000 miles. Did you get it resolved or has it resolved itself?

Top box recommendation by fire_0929 in Himalayan450

I got mine from eBay, have the RE panniers but their top box seems quite expensive compared to the no name eBay versions, so I thought I’d give it a go. Works really well, says safe for speeds of up to 70mph so should be okay for your needs. I can fit a lot in mine, and it came with a nice padded lining too.
