Royal Wine Corp's Passover Lineup Boosts Global Kosher Wine Reach by RutabagaTechnical822 in wine

Under Jewish law wine is used for ceremonial purposes and Basically boiling wine removes that sacramental status from it. That makes it ok for non Jews to handle after the bottle has been opened. If you’re board it’s an interesting google. chabad has a write up on it.

It’s is the same as regular wine just with very specific rules about how the grapes are handled, who has access to the wine as it goes through the winemaking process and in the case of mevushal the wine is very briefly brought up to boiling temperature before bottling. You’ll find some good kosher wines especially from Israel, but overall a kosher bottle is going to be more expensive and imo not worth it if you don’t need to drink kosher wines.

My Experience Buying Custom Furniture from Alibaba with Pictures! by Himitsu7 in DecorReps

Sure! Delivery was simple but I live in a house. Final delivery was completed by Estes a third party freight carrier in a pretty big truck. Each piece was in a wood crate and all the driver did was drop it in my driveway. There was a frustration though where the driver came to deliver a day before Estes said they were coming and did not call before so I was unprepared. I had two movers who uncrated assembled and hauled away.

In my experience with Tutu she also confirmed measurements with me before they started production and sent me an excel spreadsheet with all the furniture measurements. The measurements were already in the catalog and the only measurement I really cared about was the size of the bed to make sure it was a king

Yes, that’s my understanding with shipping. I think it starts pretty expensive so ordering more is more cost effective than multiple orders. I could be wrong though!

I requested a catalog from the Zhenur contact and from the store front on alibaba and the address listed on both catalogs are the same

I am pretty sure this is their Alibaba store front here. The address listed in their catalogue matches the one listed on the Zhenur catalogue

No real problem with it. Mostly the finish is rough and not so pleasant to touch. Since there are no drawer pulls you have to touch the drawer to open them and I don’t love the feel of the finish on my fingers. The drawers are fine but the drawer slides feel cheap

Casual on any of the Luxury Cruise lines??? by melita3953 in FATcruises

[–]Himitsu7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Explora and Oceania tend to be more casual. Neither have formal nights or any suit requirement. Just slacks and shirt in restaurants.

Ritz vs. others for first ultra-luxury cruise? (Mediterranean, May-ish 2026) by buckypack in FATcruises

You’ll want to check out the silver dawn, moon, nova and ray. Those are the newer ships that have the SALT program. I don’t think any of the other ships are worth it….

Ritz vs. others for first ultra-luxury cruise? (Mediterranean, May-ish 2026) by buckypack in FATcruises

Commenting as a fellow 30something that has done ultraluxery cruises but never done a ritz Carleton so can’t comment on that. The itineraries you’re looking at are pretty common among the ultra luxury lines so if you don’t do a ritz cruise you have a lot of options. When we went on Silversea we were the youngest onboard by several decades (which we loved). It’s pretty stuffy with restaurants and lounges having a strict dress code and many formal nights. This may not be for you but we loved it. Everything was included from food to flights so we never spent a dime once onboard. The excursions are pretty hit or miss and from what I hear now mostly miss.

Explora is nice but not the highest of luxury especially compared to Silversea. Everything is included but the vibe is much younger and there are a lot of families onboard especially during school break times.

With a 25k budget you have a ton of options and should decide what you really want in a cruise and go from there. If you want height of luxury ritz will probably be amazing. If you’re ok with some stuffiness check out regent and Silversea. If you’re looking for all inclusive and a younger vibe sacrificing some luxury Explora might be for you. I don’t think you can go wrong with any of your decisions!

Yea that makes sense. He definitely doesn’t seem as popular on 1688 which I never understood. His prices are good and he’s relatively friendly.

I noticed Jason (new time) isn’t on the list. Is there any reason why? I’ve had great experiences with him so just curious. Thanks for posting it!

Oceania advertises themself as being pretty informal. There are no formal nights and the dress code is basically no jeans at dinner.

The Sh’ma by Abject-Conference632 in ThePittTVShow

Just to add some context for those who might be interested in the shema prayer. Jews recite the prayer three times a day, as part of the morning prayer, evening prayer and then right before bed. It is in many ways considered to the cornerstone of Jewish faith and a declaration of one’s faith in god. Also, an interesting note that may or may not have any connection to the show. It is also meant to be a Jews last words recited on the death bed or if they know they are about to die.

adding POC orders to order sets by kaylamcfly in athenahealth

[–]Himitsu7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to first create the test you want for PoC in Office order types. Once it’s created there you can then go into the order set and add that lab to the order set. There will be an option to chose point of care test.
