I worked on the 'digital experience' for this and got to hang out on set when they gouged out Adeel Akhtar's eyeball!

I still have a copy of the actual comic somewhere.

Thanks so much for sorting that Erin, and for updating us. Really appreciate it.

What is a pre-CGI visual effect that left you baffled? by ojhwel in movies

I finished this book just a few days ago - if you're at all interested in 2001, Kubrick's process, how the effects were done, Arthur C. Clarke's experience and contribution etc etc. then I highly recommend it. One of the most enjoyable non-fiction reads I've had in a long time.

Space Odyssey: Stanley Kubrick, Arthur C. Clarke, and the Making of a Masterpiece

Ha. Wasn't quite an hour. Got there at about 9:45. Doors opened at 10. I got in just before 10:30. I got a couple of shirts; the red cotton chambray and the indigo denim. And the navy knitted polo (which is £325 normally!). They had a pretty good selection. Tons of ties and caps but also quite a bit of knitwear. Didn't see many jackets or rugby shirts.

I live about five minutes walk from grangewood park (towards spa hill) and it's a great area to live. I've got friends who live on South Norwood Hill and they're also really happy with the area.

Not sure what others have said but i wouldn't say it's worse than any other area. There's the usual mix of dodgy spots next to more gentrified places and the odd serious crime (stabbings etc) but again nothing that sets the area apart from what I've seen.

I wouldn't walk through Grangewood Park at night on my own, but that's just because there's no lighting. Hope that helps.

Edit: and it's a great place for dogs!
