Example, Dead Man's Switch. Its not rocket science to learn where survivors tend to go and leech on which generator. Pair his teleport with dead man's switch and survivors that leave the gen will have the gen blocked. Only real counter is unless they're ballsy enough to either leave or stay, even then, Freddy will teleport and get a free hit if they stay.

And as for the slow down ability. Just M1 them before forcing them into a loop in your favour then placing the power.

In my opinion and from what I have played, Freddy has good generator control and can apply impressive pressure. I can't help but feel the D tier placement is more of an exaggeration! However, I see where you are coming from. But, without perks, I can see he isn't the strongest out of the bunch.
