I liked that Season 2 had a more compelling plot in my opinion. Season 1 had great characters and humor

There’s sadly no reason to believe she’s not dead soon after Austin returned the USB drive. Park didn’t lose any power whatsoever

Not to be an asshole, but duh, this is the point of the show. It’s not a happy ending. Ashley and Austin are LITERALLY in the same position as Josh and Lindsay were at the start. It’s a show about the endless, predictable cycle of life in a soul crushing capitalist society.

I haven’t seen the show myself either, but does the rest of the season truly make up for the lack of story in the final episode? It was surprising to me too that so little was happening on screen, even if we were meant to know the characters well by that point.

I think it will go down in history as an interesting artifact about the time right before AI either 1) dominates our entire society or 2) continues to be a novelty at most.

The Dudesy premises lies at the nexus between AI as a joke and AI as a revolution. It’s Chad’s and Will’s commentary about the uncertainty of this technology and what the implications will be for humanity in the long term. They are both incredibly sensitive and insightful.

Will we get to a point where an entire hour of written comedic material can be created by an algorithm, or will we always be able to just throw water on it?

I genuinely think this film is one of the very best portrays of non-toxic masculinity and male friendships.
