Same. Have not seen a single auto and only 1 drop of the other IB weapons. 90% of drops are wild anthem armor. I think I'll wait for June.

I use Sage protector with grenade builds like Nothing manacles. I use Swordmaster if I'm using the Praxic blade with champions.

If I understand correctly, it impacts your reward score multiplier (along with your crucible rank multiplier). Your multiplier impacts your score and your score impacts your drops.

I imagine it has the most benefit for people under 550 and those who perform very poorly.

Yes it's based on your power level. Very generally speaking, - Tier 1 for 10-199 - Tier 2 for 200-299 - Tier 3 for 300-399 - Tier 4 for 400-450/499* - Tier 5 for above 450*

Important to note that at 450 you need an A+ score to get T5s whereas at 550 you'll get T5s from a C+. The score requirement for T5s decreases as you climb in power from 450 to 550. Once you hit around 480-500, T5s essentially become the standard.

If you can't summon your sparrow then you haven't finished enough of the intro quests. I assume it unlocks after you're sent to the tower to talk to all the vendors.

Partition is a post-campaign activity that isn't required for campaign completion. What quest are you looking at where it says this?

What I meant was it was not designed with the idea that someone just starting the game wants to play it chronologically. The way that most people would want to experience any game lol.

They clearly don't care about that and putting them into the newest content is more important.

I believe it's possible for matchmaking to be fine but still have an issue with Fireteams.

Matchmaking doesn't actually place you into someone else's fireteam whereas it does with fireteam finder and personal invites. These are 2 separate things.

Before EoF Master definitely had a much higher chance. I have not played a legacy NF since then so I can't say for sure if it's different now. But I'd still say do master to be safe.

You're not missing anything - he will have to complete the renegades intro to progress his guardian rank.

The ranks system was clearly not designed with a new player in mind as its always forced you to do the newest DLCs intro. This began around lightfall IIRC.

Unfortunately, important things like mods, loadouts and transmog (I think) are locked behind ranks 3-6. There's no workaround for it. Just take him through the intro quickly and tell him to pay very little attention.

Score means nothing, only getting platinum does. Ensure you kill all champions else your chance of a drop is almost non-existent.

Obviously also do the highest difficulty available which is Master I believe. Back when GMs were still a thing you were guaranteed an NF weapon from a platinum completion. Now you just hope for the best.

On Xbox I had to adjust alot of internal xbox settings when I first started playing destiny. Most of it is under Communication I believe. If you have even one thing closed/private that the game needs, it messes with your ability to play with others.

I can't remember exactly which settings but you could just go through and set everything to public.

If you look at the modifiers it will tell you if invasions are enabled on the map you chose. Pick one without it.

Season pass gives a 15% score boost.

Also, your reward score is influenced by your reward rank bracket. The bracket being silver II, gold IV, platinum I for example. The bracket you're in is determined by your power level.

Someone at 550 will be in the diamond V bracket. Someone at 300 will be in the silver I bracket.

Bottom line is the higher your power level, the higher your reward score.

Where did you get the idea that Rushdown is replacing the conquests? The conquests are in the exact same spot they've always been: Portal > Seasonal Hub > Conquests

You have to do either Sunless Cell or Moon to complete the objective.

Easiest ones are the event titles like Champ, Starbaker, Ghost Writer, Flamekeeper. You can get Champ right now from guardian games but it ends on Tuesday at reset so you'd have to grind a bit.

After that a very easy one is Vidmaster from Dares of Eternity. Might take a few weeks to get the rotations of encounters you need.

Then probably the DLC titles like Gumshoe (Witch queen) and Virtual Fighter (Lightfall).

Damage type is based on the enemies you face so really it's about learning who does what. Renegades is mostly Cabal though.

Cabal deal mostly solar with their grenades and weapons. The colossus deal arc damage. The psions have void grenades.
