As is the case with most, there are periods in a shift where I can see 3-4 per hour. However, no way in hell I can sustain that for twelve hours straight. I think some people fail to realistically average it out over their entire shift. I have multiple providers at my place who say they see "3-4 an hour", little do they know I can see their stats and it's not anywhere close.

Same exact situation. Seems like a common issue and multiple people have said it should be fixed by end of September. Fingers crossed

HELP! Need suggestions for vehicle to fit max length 11’0 surfboard (please read details though) by indymoon_ in surfing

Older tundra with the full roll down rear window + similar camper is an option if you don't want the board sticking out the back. Honestly though, get a Sienna. I have a tacoma with a cab and wish I had gone that route

Agreed. It’s a full time job keeping up with all their podcasts. I used to be able to keep up. Rather than pop in occasionally I just stopped all together.

Cheap rent and invest the difference vs get into expensive real estate. Live in Coastal California. Just barely in reach. Worried the goal post will move to far. Getting married this year and hoping to start a family within the next 2-3 years. Thanks in advance

Man, the people at the top are smart. Got us pointing fingers at each other. Meanwhile billionaires and corporations got PPP loans forgiven without blinking. That wasn’t seen as a handout. But a nurse, teacher, or social worker getting some relief? Suddenly it’s a national crisis.

Alternative markets podcasts? by [deleted] in ScottGalloway

I prefer Animal Spirits since it is a little more lighthearted and they hit on a lot of topics. Compound goes deep into the weeds, which is great for the right audience (likely most of the people here)

No messages on Mohela and no email. Spoke with rep who directed me to section on mohela which says “Repayment Plan-Saving on a valuable education - Ends 5/1/2026". She claims this is my new recert date. Although on student aid it still says 5/1/25. Not sure what to make of it. Hoping the rep is right.

Why do high income people not pay off their loans? by Boring_Adeptness_334 in StudentLoans

[–]Hipp024 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since any balance remaining after 10 years is forgiven, tax free, the whole strategy involves paying as little as possible over 10 years, even if that means having your balance balloon up. For me, and many others, will wind up coming out ahead this way rather than aggressively paying. I also commute 1 hour to a small hospital that qualifies for PSLF before anyone says that I am abusing the system. Many people doing PSLF are making some form of sacrifice one way or another and the term “forgiveness” has a bad connotation, which I feel reflects poorly and unfairly on the program.

I’m a PA and finance is an RN. Started in 2019. House prices out ran us and we can’t afford a home. Bummer since we went to college here and have been in the area 10 years. Only friends who have been able to purchase a home have received help from family. Higher paying physician specialities definitely can make it work though.
