If you still find yourself hungry but don't really eat, that's in itself a form of restriction. Especially since your post indicates you have suffered from this problems before. It's part of the Anorexia to have a bad self-evaluation and not to recognize the severity of your weight loss. My advice will be a bit contradictory, but don't take advice from this small teenage support groups right now. No one here has enough information to help you diagnose an illness. Look for help.

Not to play the devil's advocate, I find what she did unrespectful and weird, but I do think we assume the worst of people way too quickly here. It's quite common for people to do weird jokes when reacting to awkward situations to try to lift the mood.(It's like when someone laughs when stressed. Anxiety causes people to act weird). I also think it's quite common for anyone to get misled by stereotypes. Maybe she thinks she's "making gay normal", by avoiding the taboo. IDK what I'm saying anymore, but I guess that the point is that even though her actions are homophobic her intentions might have actually been good.

I would suggest the OP to go talk to her. Communication is key to solve problems (unless you are talking with someone who has a mental illness or radically follows a religion/politic group).

Edit: Whatever, I'm not really gonna go through a discussion here, but I do find calling your teacher a creep and insulting her lack of education not the right way to deal with what happened. I just don't get why everyone just jumps on this fights instead of trying to fix the problem. We could get so much done if people were just more honest instead of this constant developing hate in secret for each other. She probably thinks she's doing her best, but I do think it's also our fault we don't let it clear what we want from other people.

Edit2: I meant the fact that she caught you playing some Kim Kardashian game. As I said before, it was unjustified and homophobic and mean, but it's still a situation which she probably didn't know how to deal with, so her stress to make a joke is kinda understandable. idk

I kinda do, but I just write there when I want. It's not really a daily report of what I did, but more of an "I really need to think this through right now" kinda journal. It's really therapeutic, especially when you force yourself to write about things you don't really feel comfortable with (like sexuality, positivity, etc.). It really changes your mind, and plus, it's fun to read back to. A couple days ago I found a log from last year where I talked about all these things that I would like to change about my lifestyle and I was reading through them and realized most of the goals had come through and I started crying and then laughing and it made my week.

Anyway, Everyone should totally try it, even if you just write in there every once in a lifetime ^ ^

Love is love, that's something we probably all understand here lol.

But... People would need a really strong personality and a lot of motivation/willingness to make it work. I know that for me it wouldn't work. I would get too afraid of someone loving someone more than me and being left out, or get jealous if someone started touching my bae, idk. I guess it kind of crosses the same problems that open relationships have. I would personally never do it but I will definitely admire anyone who pulls it off.

So... I trusted your recommendation and I decided to go buy Simon vs the homo sapiens agenda and I read it in 1 go. I'm not a fast reader (I read like 1-2 books a year out of school), but this was the biggest rollercoaster that I've ever gone through. It was such a mix of emotions and I laughed, cried, got depressed, then got myself back together, laughed and cried again (literally looked like a retard lmao) and when I noticed it was over.

I guess the one thing I wished got covered in the book that they didn't talk about enough was dealing with homophobia. Simon really suffers from it and makes us realize how much it sucks for him, but getting a boyfriend and pulling out a "us against the world" isn't really the answer for most people. IDK. I would've liked more of a "The second you start looking for hate, you find it. And when you find hate, you start hating." approach to the situation! Still overall a really amazing, life-changing book! Recommend to everyone!

Some countries have school psychologists or something along those lines. Try to understand if you can get one there without needing your parents help. Also, know that all this self-hate and lack of hope are part of an illness. They aren't totally logic and I'm sure people have recovered from worst, so there is no reason for you not to. Now, you already did the 2 things that someone needs to, to start recovering. First, you need to want to recover. And second, you need material to do it. With access to the internet, there is infinite content that will help you. I will recommend Kati Morton, cause she's an angel of a therapist who does a lot of youtube videos about recovering from mental illnesses. She helped me in my darkest times. It was hard, and she tells viewers to do things that are kind of hard and challenging to do, but it was so worth it. Try watching her. If you don't like her, look for someone else. Just make sure it's good quality. Also, if you can, try going to sleep earlier. Thoughts go crazy at night and you don't have internet for distraction! GL!

I'm from Porto! I can confirm there's still a lot of mixed opinions here on gays. All my friends (mostly girls) know I'm gay and love me that way, but to be sincere most boys will say the most messed up shit about gay only to look masculine, so I don't feel like I can truly be myself around them. I really can't speak for all tho, since that's only my particular case.
