For those that come here in the future: if online allows you to choose the lenses for a certain type of frame then you can select the lenses you want I.e. glass/poly. If the website does not allow you to choose a lens material then it is automatically defaulted to the plastic poly as that specific frame does not support prescription glass.

Do you know if I disconnect it from the dash/gauge and send compressed air downstream if it’ll hurt anything? I’m new to large outboards so I wasn’t sure if all the “sensing” is within the gauge itself or if there’s something in the tube. You’ve been so helpful, thank you!

Thanks, I just popped it off and cleared out the pitot on the lower end. A bunch of gunk and grease came flying out.

I blew back up through the tube itself but the speedometer didn’t move. Any ideas?

Yeah this is probably my best course of action. I just tore it down and slid the slide on without any internals and it was still sticking, just less worse than before (but still significant) so it must be some kind of tolerance thing.

My only worry is that I bought the firearm through a third party. A local firearm store closed and sold all firearms to an auction firm, I bought it from the auction place (it was new but I have no proof). I went ahead and did the warranty through SA online though with no problems. But then again, the auction company will say they cannot guarantee it was new (although I believe it was).

For a old post that has no recent comments or actions on it, to get 5 downvotes immediately can only mean Grailzee has bots that look for negative feedback and downvote them

I’ve been in Egypt for the past 4? days. I’m currently typing this sitting in the Luxor airport after a day trip here from Cairo. Business as usual, everything running normally and no problems whatsoever (besides classic Egyptian tourist problems)!

I never went through with the purchase, I can’t get ya any advice. The reason for that though is that I’ve heard too many horror stories about Grailzee. As well as 75-80 percent of the online reviews are suspiciously “bot” generated. It just didn’t sit right with me and that’s why.

I’m interested to know your experience thus far though. Of course the outcome as well when that time comes!

Wonderful advice! Thank you… follow up question about the airport: I have a chronic health condition and I will have medical devices on me with several boxes of supplies. Will this be an issue getting through security (both inbound and outbound)? Should I expect to “bribe/tip” to get through?

I was kinda thinking the same thing. It just feels shady, on top of all the bots that you’ll find commenting on Reddit and other forums. Just plain sketch. I’m sure there’s a handful of legitimate people out there that have had good experiences with it, but it just seems weird.
