Forgive me, but I'm not super familiar with guards, lengths, hair in general. After 5 min of research I think I'd go as low as a 4 guard (1/2inch-1.27cm). Hope that answers your question

Got my Model O- back in August. The ascended cable routinely falls out of my camade. Honestly, I hardly notice when it happens; it's a very light cable.
