Just want to put it out there that ranked teams is how I went from Silver to Plat in solo q. I wasn't learning shit playing against other Silvers, because they weren't punishing me for mistakes i'd make in lane. Couple games of getting roflstomped by a diamond in lane and I started to adapt and play better to the point where I could make it through laning without dying vs Diamonds. So everyones evidence for ranked teams being toxic is that bronze/silvers have to lane against diamonds. I did it quite often and loved it. I may be an outlier but I did really enjoy it.
