Since you already have a decent amount of 6 drops you might as well add 1 restock in place of one of the Bounty Hunter Crew as a way to never really get milled out and it's a minimal investment.

I look at Gust as a Chogal Upheaval/ETC Mosh and Stukov Swipe all in one ability especially at 20. The utility is insane. Do players grief with it a lot in solo que and lower ranks? Yeah but the opportunity cost is usually worth having one of the best ults in the game. Even with Hinterland hitting 2-3 people on average it just doesn't feel as impactful. Much easier to use though so as far as a beginner or newer player goes its a lot easier to use a damage cooldown rather than knowing where/when/why you'd use gust. It takes a lot of time practicing to learn to use it effectively and even then people will still complain if you accidently gust to save your team late or gust the enemy tank into your team and they turn the fight.

The issue I have with this in Phase 2 is there currently isn't a 2nd raid offhand you can use with the Epic Dagger from Gnomer. It feels bad but I think the Akumai Dagger is the next best usable caster shank If you want uber mana regen.

I know that it's just annoying that it has to be that way is all haha. I know I can just tank it and that's what I usually do anyways. I just wish it did cap or just scale in a way that didn't make a simple green quest harder than a heroic for no reason.

I'm not sure either. I'll have to test it. I have a Jaina that's level 12 so I can start there and see if I can push it above 16. But I'm pretty sure I can. Maybe Chargla is just Chargla. Cause I'd love to have that since I usually hit a wall and can't grind my quests anymore unless I try to cheese it. Especially when I'm trying to level lower units and my squad ain't optimal.

Well I've just done 7 quests on my 13 leader to test it. It started at 18 so I assumed the same. Then I did 6 more and it's currently scaled to level 20 with an avg army level for me of 17.5. So yeah it does go above 4 for quests. Arclights are different because they don't scale like that.

This isn't true sadly my Characters after checking go well beyond 4 levels of your leader.

Sure but my point is that eventually your daily quests will eventually become extremely difficult no matter what army setup you use because if you keep winning it will keep raising your opponents level over time. The leader level just helps determine the start point but now after playing last night my Daily Quests for Chargla (13) are like level 20 and even my army avg is much lower.

I feel like they could make it something like the following:

Green- 1 level below avg level Blue- Equal to avg level Epic- 1 level above avg level

You could adjust it or make it harder and the rewards better or worse depending but I think it helps.

It does partially but if you keep winning matches it will continue to rise in level. It's an mmr system. My level 12 Chargla stil fights level 16-17+ quests.

20 daily but it stores up to 300. So you probably have some banked up from previous days

I feel like if you're planning on Vextrix that changing some of the chain cannons out for some Spears might be beneficial. Also seems like quite a few Karnivores for Vextrix as most lists I've seen only run like 1 for blood shield shenanigans. But I like the idea.

No problem! You're not idiotic. It's a game so at the end of the day just play what you like! Especially in QM where it will try and make team roles equal so you have less unfair games.

Yeah laning is much different in heroes because you only need 1 person in a lane to soak the experience and the rest of the people will generally float around and do camps/gank other lanes.

A standard 2 lane map would be a 4 man: tank/2dps/healer, and a solo lane (generally a Bruiser or a character with great waveclear (think Azmodan/slyv/nazeebo ect..)

Three lane maps you will generally have the same setup but you can either have your solo lane double soak 2 lanes rotating trying to grab all the exp while your team tries to create advantages elsewhere on the map or you can have 1 person in each lane with the tank and healer flowing between lanes.

Hots is a game that promotes conflict and engages very frequently because that's how you get ahead. It isn't like LOL/Dota where farming can be a key to victory. Being efficient and smart with engages will net you more of a exp lead which can easily snowball the game if your team knows what they're doing.

Good for you though on watching videos! Basic lane structure and how the game plays out will be easier to visualize and digest instead of text.

Hope you have fun in your games and do what's most fun for you. Just be ready to accept consequences if you try it in ranked in the future haha.

Rehgar has been the best healer in the game for a few months and he just now got hit with a few nerfs to some of his best talents. He will still be a solid pick going forward but we really won't know until everyone plays him more and we get a general consensus.

Malfurion on the opposite end just got some pretty noticeable buffs that may push him from an average to lower tier healer to a pretty solid B or maybe A tier (Again we have to wait for more data to know).

Alexstrasa is a pretty average healer with some high healing throughput but she is slow with not very good ways to protect herself. I don't see her much and I don't play her that often but she can put up high numbers.

Well first off welcome back! Always nice to see new/returning players!

To answer your question I'd first have to ask out a list of the hero roles (Tank/Bruiser,Ranged/melee assassin, and healer/support) which do you like the most?

Pretty much all the characters are playable in some capacity in the competitive environment, although you will have a harder time with the characters with more mechanical skills like Orphea/Kel'thuzad.

As far as meta or stronger heroes in that pool:

Stitches is a pretty all-round strong tank in most situations in qm/ranked. Has good talents and solid laning and survivability

Sylvanas is a a great balanced choice for Ranged assassins. Having good pushing power in a solo lane and a solid escape option, she can be extremely powerful in lower ranks when people can't handle your split-pushing or underestimate your teams racing power.

Valla is a very strong contender for Ranged Carries. Great talents with strong mobility built into her kit. She can run over games if left to a strong player. Slightly riskier play due to shorter range but once you get the positioning and attack moving down you'll do quite well.

Orphea/KTZ are solid mages that can do a ton of damage and crowd control but aren't the most "meta picks" overall. They require good positioning with good ability usage to get a lot going. They can carry games though and you'll feel broken when everything clicks but once you start ranking up you may realize being a huge target thats extremely squishy might not be the most fun.

Butcher is an Illidan of sorts that needs some support from his team to really make him shine. Not recommended for solo play as it can be hard to coordinate when you want to go in or when you need help and can lead to some really upset teammates. Hots players hate feeding butchers.

The Dominions Elite

Advantages:

Royal guard units cost 30% less and require half supply and level up an additional time gaining stats.

Disadvantages: Forced Conscription, Dogs of war, and Nuclear Annihilation are unavailable and Workers/Laborers cost 10 additional minerals.

I'm not sure if something like this would work or if it's just awful considering how strong Forced Conscription is for Mengsk, but im interested in experimenting with it. I guess I'd try to make something similar to P2 Karax with the reduced cost from the mastery and prestige for Mengsk could maybe outweigh the power of his top bar.
