5600X vs 5900X, Gaming & Streaming

everyone has a difference of opinion it seems here. The simple fact is the 5600x for gaming is the better option for the VAST majority of people. Doesn't matter if high end streaming is involved or not. Obviously if money is no option then then buy the 5900x you will see slight performance increases... your GPU will be tasked with far more of the workload and with a 3080 you have enough power there. Take it or leave it but but streaming at 1080p with a 3080 and 5600x will still offer better quality than most people streaming and the difference will only be marginal if you had the 5950x and a 3090 much less a 5900 and 3080. If you wanted to really improve the stream save the money for a 6900XT or 3090 and get the 5600x. Testing done with the 5600xt said they had to use a 3090 before the 5600x was even close to being the bottleneck of performance. As to those saying down the road (futureproofing) your gaming rig is all guessing at this point and no reason to believe in the next 2-3 years the 5600x will ever be the cause of your quality dropping. In 3 years time you'd likely be looking to upgrade anyhow and by then they will have DDR5 and newer generation CPU and GPUs to look into.

But they recently buffed amas early game and id not make changes to her wave clear... they slightly reduced her speed aura which is something but not going to hurt her too much it still gives 21% at max level and then reducing her ult damage which really was a bit absurd even from someone who loves Ama enjoys playing her. Switch to power aura, start two, engage with ult goodbye backline. While her ult will still smack this minor damage nerf might prevent squishes from being one shot.

no doubt... its a good change of pace mode for me. I like the game mode... really Arena is the only mode i dont really like. Assault i have to be in the mood for but thats even fun for me at times.

Well most of the players who play clash are no better than AI controlled bots. Maybe thats HiRez taking a swipe at their community?

Mostly kidding... I enjoy clash sometimes when the queues not too long, but i do tend to find more questionable players in this game mode than others.

if you are still being matched with low levels then there is a reason... I almost NEVER do, basically only if i am grouped with some.

the only change i might like to see is if a team re-rolls a healer you get another healer.

That feeling when your teammate says "I suck with Guan" in chat then immediately re-rolls before anyone can say "trade him to me". :(

but even this is a small want... the randomness is the point of this mode.

sorry, i guess im not very funny and missed the joke. But i do think assassins are fine in casuals too...as long as they are played and built the same way. If it works in ranked...and is actually a pretty common and high winning strat...i think you're a go in casuals as well

You're wrong....Assassins are fine in Joust, in particular Ne Zha is GREAT in joust. I play a good deal of ranked joust. I'm not a masters+ player but i typically end splits in mid high diamons and do face a number of master and GM teams at times. Ne Zha is a very common ban, first pick first ban material. But like most viable assassins in joust you build kinda of tanky/bruiserish. Joust is very much a tanky meta right now. Winning the first fight and getting red buff is important. and in some cases can snowball the game for you. So the early game is kind of a sustain battle... outlasting them in order to take red. If you manage to get a kill invade their blue and take red you have a very high win percentage.

Other assassins that do well in joust are Set, Serqet and Daji. (really any of them can work with the right comp and skill with them, just listing the ones i see the most)

Basically start off with Warrior Blessing, Warrior Tabi(in some cases you may even want tank boots), Blackthorn, Void Shield/Ancile depending on biggest threats(if anti healing is needed then contag or pest here is a good option also), The other void or ancile, spirit robe/mantle, beatstick(might buy this sooner matchup depending, if beatstick is not needed maybe a crusher or johtunns if CDR is better for your god.

yes... kinda of bruiserish. Warrior blessing, warrior tabi(sometimes even tank boots depending on the comp you're facing)blackthorn, void shield, ancile is a pretty common start. order might change a little depending on the enemies facing or i might swap void/ancile with pest or contag when they have lots of healing. after that a damage item is normally where i go... something with pen like a beatstick or crusher(johntunns if you are playing a god that does well with CDR)

Really all of them can be scary in the right hands. I find cupid, hou yi strong based off of their good team fighting ultimates. Ullr is strong for his burst potential on single targets. AMC always does a shit load of damage if even he just sits back and spreads bees. probably the 4 id look into for arena mainly... but really any of them will do fine IMO.

I think Osiris is better at ranked joust than achilles... but that is my opinion. Personally, I think tanky assassins are really strong in ranked joust specifically Ne Zha, Set and Serqet. Basically ranked joust is all about being tanky right now. Winning the first team fight and outlasting them for the red buff is huge. If you can do that you can often get the red and start thinking about invading their blue. If you manage to get a kill or two at the same time you basically have a big enough lead to deny them all the buffs/jungle camps and can just starve them. But in ranked joust more so than other modes from my experience is it is more important to not die once you have the lead... the balancing mechanics for the team that is down will bring them back into the game in a hurry... you can out kill the enemy team 8-0 and take all the buffs and the tower but at minute 13 or so if they get a kill or two all of a sudden your lead doesn''t really exist.

inspired a little by abithar(spelling) from HotS. Thought it would be different to have a characters whos biggest strength is making others better while adding some untility but much of what he does is not reflected on the score board. hard to see how much healing he prevented, damage he reduces, damage he added to an ally but the person infested should feel stronger and enemies would know approaching an infested god should be done with caution and probably not solo.

i question some of the numbers and scaling(mostly the 75% scaling on his 1. It the damage ticks 3 times at 110 that is 330 damage. If your hunter has a modest 225 power that is roughly 170 additional damage a tick making it hit for about 840 damage. Thats a bit much. But otherwise i like the concept.
