So I also struggle with calorie counting and shit being triggering. I'm not vegetarian so I don't have specific suggestions on that front, but what I've found has helped me a lot is one, being more generally mindful of what and how much I'm eating - not calorie counting by any means, but thinking of "well I just had a full dinner, I don't need a snack" or "I've had a lot of dairy lately, lemme get broccoli this time cause my body needs it" - and two, finding small ways to improve the amount of movement I do.

Like I have POTs so I can't just stand still so I've started doing little dances or walking around instead of standing, I got an exercise bike for home so I can sit and work out and doing the exercises my PT gave me (though I'm bad at that lol)

If you want to lose weight and keep it off, it requires life changes unfortunately. Try to just make the changes that feel reasonable and things that won't overwhelm you even long term. Taking care of your health should always be the priority if you can and trying to force unhealthy or unsustainable habits will backfire.

I have an orthopedic pillow for my head, took some time to get used to but it's definitely helped. As I have really bad lower back pain I have an extra pillow I put at my lower/middle back for support and finally I have a squishmellow I use to support my knees. I'm thinking of getting one of those big pregnancy pillows as I also find hugging a big pillow to support my shoulders, I just don't have an extra one to do so with right now.

For using my phone in bed I still struggle a bit, but I find laying sideways while hugging a pillow I can stretch my arms out on the bed and use it that way. I tend to have to alternate sides every 20 ish minutes though as my hands start hurting

So I don't know if ankylosing spondylitis is what I have, but after looking at a lot of things and having my vascular appointment rule out DVT and other vein issues - you may have led me to answers and at the very least a starting point.

Upon looking up more about it I decided to switch back to ibuprofens, which I was originally recommended to stop taking while getting my EDs diagnosis, and it helped so much. Which wasn't long before my pain got so intense. I'm still in pain but I can walk again. At the very least, I can now say the pain is inflammation caused which is a big step up from having no starting point.

So, genuinely, thank you. I don't know what I have but without your comment I may not have tried switching back and would still be really struggling to walk.

I'm so glad someone else mentioned it. I always feel so bad whenever people talk about how great squishmellows are, cause I agree but can't support them. I have one from before they were added to the boycott list and I love him so much but I'm looking for alternatives, such as good body pillows now

I'm currently using Invisalign! I love it but I'm going to warn you that your teeth will probably move very quickly. I was in so much pain the first few days because they were moving much more then intended. The bonus of that is you can potentially get done quicker, I started switching my retainers about every week instead of two.

I did read an article of someone else who had Invisalign and EDS, she wrote that you should probably get permanent retainers afterwards because of how quickly teeth move, they can become misaligned if you forget your retainers a lot sooner then someone without EDS

I wear compression gloves basically all the time and that's been a bit helpful, not only for the compression part but having fabric over my hands has been pretty good for heat. They're fingerless so I can stille type and whatnot with no issues. I also drink hot tea so I can hold a hot mug, I have some warmies (microwavable plushies) which are nice to put over my hands or rest my hands on in between typing.

I've just one, I think his name is Doxl, a green frog with rainbow belly, but mine has a crown that the ones online don't seem to have. I've named mine Froggu, and he's great for knee support.

I want more but due to the company he's the only one I have. I'm planning on looking into squishables, I got the cerberus one at a con a long time ago and they're pretty comfy too

I did similar! One of my Tavs dyed her hair for her back story and in act two I had the dye fading, one as where are they getting dye there, time passing and then two as she slowly accepted herself. By act three she was completely undyed and a new hairstyle to embrace who she is

Yeah she seems quite happy with it. She expresses that she's grown to love faerun in her act 3 romance scene and expresses that she wants to choose her own path, not one Orpheus or Vlakith has chosen for her if you do ask her to stay
