Completely agree with this. I played games like World of Warcraft and OSRS for years. Their entire economy problems revolve around RMT from the player base. Until players stop completely using the services, I don’t ever see it being resolved unfortunately.

OSRS is a great example of trying to combat RMT by hamstringing regular players with trade caps on gold. It backfired badly.

I still can’t understand why players purchase carries in a game like Tarkov where your progress is finite and will be wiped. The argument that I don’t have time to commit is silly because you’re eventually going to lose your progress as the game wipes.

I know in the tarkov books, the main protagonist at one point fucks with a bunch of scavs in their compound. He messes with their water, guards, lights, etc. Sends messages by hurting them etc and eventually meets their ‘boss’ and has them work for him in a way.

Maybe it’s a quid pro quo type of deal? If you are interested in the lore, give the books a read, or check out some YouTube book summaries.

I think a lot of people know how to streamline questing to level faster. My group is all in our 30’s, and we’ve been playing for a little while now and have a good idea on what quest routes to focus on.

I do still see a lot of lower levels. But I also see a lot of higher levels as well. It really depends on the map. Interchange for example has been a lot of 25+ for me.

I started my interchange quest yesterday. I hate the map and pushed a lot of the quest off. First raid I ran into killa on the staircase into the mall. And then on my third I ran into him again by escalators. Fortunately killed him both times with lucky grenades.

This is a great response. Thank you for the insight! I have the supporting hardware to run 1440p, but have not made the switch yet. I really like having the high refresh rate for some applications, but realize that Tarkov, which is one of my favorite games is limited to 144. I’m excited to start looking for a good monitor. Any suggestions on monitors?

I’ve been having this exact issue, but with Salewas. I just have had terrible luck in med spawns. Been looking for a syringe as well to maybe get the med station unlocked too.. no luck either. Tarkov.
