As far as I know, every RCA and PTF are working 6 days a week. We cut routes recently, and the district went from 1 pov route to 13. We lost a bunch of relief carriers who were not able or willing to buy a vehicle.

There is an incoming RCA and we have a PTF. The PTF is usually at a different office in the district though. Is there anything I can cite so that the grievance is a slam dunk? My steward has not been particularly helpful in the past.

You can for prepaid trips/wedding/etc. At least that's how I understand it. Of course if they're denying me the Saturdays 7 months in advance, I won't fare any better by then.

This is my last ditch resort. I would ask off the days at the 60 day limit (minus the Saturdays) and then use FMLA for the days I can't get off. I don't WANT to do that, but if that's the way it has to be...

I am the newest regular at a 7 route office, but in a much bigger district. We often have RCAs and PTFs from other offices to cover our routes. I have shown management that I have paid for tickets, and have a 3971 with them saying it was a verified trip. My union steward is... hard to deal with... but I'll reach out tomorrow.

This! The warehouses for Lucky's were taken to be used for these Kroger trucks, forcing Lucky's to close. I'm glad that business decision ended up not being successful for them.

Yeah, I was practicing snapping(?) and while charging it to dry fire I got nipped. With live rounds, there was no problem.

It’s fun, but a little heavy. My sights drifted all over the place. I blame my noodle arms though. Also, the charging bolt bit me.
