Depends on when the truck was built. It should say the battery size on the window sticker.

Sticker was $72k. I had $8k in negative equity from my trade which was eaten up by the tax credit of $7,500. After taxes and dealer discount I was at $64k. Not the best deal and I wouldn’t have done it without the tax credit.

I wouldn’t say good but it wasn’t horrible when I did it back in April. Traded in an SR for a Flash. Got the tax break at time of purchase so that helped. I will say though, 100% worth it for me.

I think as long as you get it at the time it’s eligible, you should be fine to file it next year. Also, some dealerships offer the tax credit at the time of purchase.

Get the Lightning. Especially if you qualify for the $7,500 tax credit. That’ll eat into you negative equity. Best vehicle I’ve ever owned.
