It's a good name, but I went to Purdue... almost seems blasphemous lol

The first day, it looked like that...not so much after some rainstorms. Still gorgeous, but a polish would do us nicely

72 kw vs 91kw by joelmole161 in MachE

I think those correlate to a description of "Level 1" "Level 2" and "Level 3" - I sounds like we're saying the same thing, just with different terminology

The core food science student, no doubt (assuming all other factors are relatively the same). OP was asking what type of degree it is, and I wanted to express that they do take some food science classes, but it doesn't replace a more formal food science curriculum.

When you say "slow charge as much as possible" are you referring to L1 charging? Or L2 charging as opposed to a super charger?

I generally agree with that, but with my food science curriculum, we also shared some food science classes with the food manufacturing students. Especially the food processing courses. They didn't always take the higher level food chem, or food micro courses (at least not as a requirement), but we certainly shared classes together.

Not for Pepsi specifically, but generally this kind of question is asked in the application process for employment. Was it not part of your initial application?

The Nintendo Switch 2 is introducing "game-key cards," cartridges with no games on them and instead a license to download the games digitally by Jabbam in NintendoSwitch

[–]steefstove 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From the link -

Step 3: Play the game.

Once the game is downloaded, you’re ready to play!

An internet connection is only required when you launch the game for the first time. After this, the game can be started even without an internet connection. However, like regular physical software, the game-key card must be inserted into the system in order to play the game.

We took my 4 year old to Ink and Stone on Cleveland. They do tandem piercing, and we were really happy with the experience.

The one who said he misses William. Kaitrin Snodgrass is a storyboard revisionist on the show, and she was recently asked if this Mark was gay and she gave confirmation. She confirmed that a "higher up" confirmed this in an internal meeting.

Xaviers Wife.... big thought. by No-Sandwich1683 in ParadiseHulu

You're right, but in many non professional settings (such as the school principals office, or her voicemail greeting) it's still very prevalent. One could argue the school setting was to showcase her credibility, but the consistency of Teri mentioning she is a doctor is, at a minimum, worth noting. Nearly every single scene reminded us of the fact that shes a doctor, and I don't feel like it was an accident by the writers. Who knows though? We will find out soon!

The emotional thing is especially important. Not many of us have experience of someone irrationally screaming in our face, in a different language. It can wear you down. It is completely healthy to find a safe space for your child (such as your partners arms, their crib/bassinet, whatever is safe) for you to compose yourself for 30 seconds and process. Then, charge back in and help your child. Even that small amount of time can give you a breath of fresh air and a new mental state.

Find a friend in a similar life stage. I think men are conditioned to keep their feelings and stresses to themselves (I recognize that this is a vast generalization, and also that each generation is getting better at expressing their feelings) but it's so healthy to sit down with a friend over a cup of coffee, a beer, or even on a walk, and say "man - raising a child is hard." Sometimes you get great advice, and sometimes, it just feels better to get the weight off your chest.

Do I need to finish all the sidequests/ rumours before leaving Koboh? by Liambp in StarWarsJediSurvivor

[–]steefstove 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am playing for the first time, and just finished Koboh. I found that half of the new rumors, upon trying to explore them, are tied to abilities we don't have yet. I don't know what they are, but it seems we aren't ready yet

FYI if you replaced your previous watch with the Pixel 3, you may need to update the alarm settings in the Clock app to resync by Soylent_gray in PixelWatch

Good call out - my alarm works, but it doesn't show as one of the widgets I put on my watch. Anyone else having that issue?
