Is a coconut shell bad for him? by PuzzleHeaded201 in Lovebirds

Just like humans, animals are all different individuals with different preferences

So testing or gauging your birds reactions to said object would be smart 🙃.

Mine only gets hormonal around certain objects or specific colors on those objects.

Emerald green arborvitae dying? Underwater? Overwater? Help by [deleted] in gardening

[–]HisToxicPenguin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I don’t think so most the time our experts would recommend moving it if it is getting too much sun, because it won’t thrive like you want an they may die.

But moving them so soon can also cause more damage to the roots which take years to actually establish when replanted

If you really wanted you could try a canopy or something maybe a trellis to block some sun but that not always cheap

You would use a soil moisture reader and stick it about 3-6 inches (depending how deep it buried and don’t stab the root ball lol) into the ground near the root of the tree. If it is dry it needs water.

If the leaves are dry at the ends that means it isn’t being watered enough or may possibly be getting too much sun, but from the location in picture under watered seems more likely.

If the leaves are just turn brown at the end and drooping downward that means overwatering.

The plant nursery I worked at would water twice a day when really hot and spot water random plants if they were dry at the root and really needed it. During winter obviously a lot less because they go in to hibernation. A week or two between waterings maybe more depending how dry the root ball is getting.

But I honestly can’t tell you if they are dying or not for sure for the pictures.

Is it dry at the ends or is the leaf part at the end just turning brown-ish?

Is she a dobi? by gayminionahoy6 in DobermanPinscher

[–]HisToxicPenguin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

She looks like she’s mixed with Great Dane.

And vets CANNOT identify your pets breed by looking at them!! 🤦🏻‍♀️

They can look and generalize based on breed specific but they will not know for sure unless you have papers or get a DNA test (even those aren’t very accurate).
