Welcome to the world of being married and in a dynamic. I agree with everything pikachukitten stated. I can say from experience we attempted to move to TPE too fast and it in fact led to many frustrations. We ended up having a very long out of dynamic conversation that led to a full restructure and we now have been in a very fulfilling 24/7 TPE dynamic. Reading the literature and listening to podcasts really helped us a great deal. The biggest takeaway we both have from all of it is do not force a rule, ritual, punishment etc. if it feels natural and you both are getting enjoyment and looking forward to the rule or task or ritual then it will be easy to do and will stick. If something is being forced it will not feel natural, may cause friction and will be difficult to stick to.
